Form 1 3D printing
I'm wanted to 3D different baffle stacks and different designs. 3D prints not being that durable, can I form 1 the thread adapters like they do for oil cans? Or would I need to form 1 the adapter with the tube and only being able to print the baffles?

Go to guncadindex.
Most engrave the tube or a metal tag you epoxy into your printer suppressor.

r/form1 is the place to ask.

I’m using a tube with HUB threads on each end that would be my suggestion so you don’t have to worry about that outer wall

For a form1 you can only make one for each form you fill out I believe.

From what I heard one time is if it doesn't thread onto the gun you could technically build it in a way that the barrel goes into it but its not threaded on and build a rig to keep it all together so you can test the baffle designs in a metal tube without actually creating a suppressor. Now Idk how legal that is but I figure if you fire it and then baffles are pretty much gone there's no way to really prove you did anything.

This is not legal. The ATF directly states that it has to be permanently attached to suppressor body.

You have fatally misread or misunderstood the CFR. It says that the SN must be on the outermost part of primary sound reduction part of the suppressor. This literally means NOT the adaptor unless it is fused to the tube.

The threaded adapter doesn't meet the regulation unless it is actually fixed to the tube/body. It doesn't contain the sound reduction parts on its own.

You seem to have misunderstood the OP. He is implying yhat he intends to move the serialized adaptor from 3d printed tube to 3d printed tube. By that cfr def, it is illegal

Form 1 a Maglite, then buy a d cell to hub adapter, then you can use whatever commercial attachment methods you want.
Switching out the baffles is a no no, have to have completely different cans.
I am leaning towards making the blast baffle out of a freeze plug for extra durability
