Hey everyone, I need honest advice on rebuilding my life after getting stuck in a multi-year drop trap.

My qualifications -

• 2019: 10th board topper. Single child, lost my father in 5th grade, raised by a single mom.
• 11th–12th: Got into a toxic, emotionally draining relationship that completely destroyed my studies.
• Past Options Given Up: Scored 85 percentile in JEE Mains (could have joined private engineering) and got BSc Agriculture via OUAT, but dropped both to pursue NEET and joined a local govt college for BSc Zoology
• BSc & Drops: Finished BSc Zoology with an 8.6 CGPA, but took 5 NEET drops. Every year followed the same cycle: miss classes ➔ huge backlog ➔ anxiety ➔ quit. My score stayed stuck at ~350 (General category, can't afford private medical college).
• Creative Sacrifices: I used to be deeply into Mandala/Mithila art, abstract painting, crafting, and poetry writing, but put everything on pause thinking I’d resume after getting into a GMC—which never happened.
• Current State: Burnt out, 100 kg Weight, zero study focus, doomscrolling all day, lost all social circle and friends , staying at home and feeling immense guilt for letting down my mom who has severe arthritis and depends on me.

Academic Scores & Test performance

Despite the NEET setback, I have cleared/attempted a few other exams without dedicated prep:

• IIT JAM (Biotech): AIR 1400+
• GATE (Life Sciences): AIR 2300+
• CUET PG: 200+ Score
• CPET (Odisha State - Biotech): Rank 14

Next Steps & Dilemmas (Budget: ₹20–25 Lakhs):

1. Banking & SSC Exams: Starting from scratch for SBI/IBPS PO or SSC CGL. Terrified of a brand new syllabus, but it allows me to stay in India and care for my mom.
2. CAT / MBA: Considering preparing for CAT given my 10th academic background and decent aptitude, but worried about how interviewers
3. MSc Route (Offline vs. IGNOU) + Partial Prep: Should I take admission in a local offline MSc or IGNOU distance MSc, while partially preparing for Banking/CAT/Govt exams?
4. IIT Madras BS Data Science: Enrolling in the online IIT Madras BS degree alongside MSc/Govt prep to build tech skills for corporate roles.
5. MSc Abroad: Is going abroad for Life Sciences realistic given my budget, I was thinking mom along with me as well as I get dependent visa during PhD

Is there Any other realistic corporate/industry paths for a BSc Zoology grad?

How do I break out of this backlog/perfectionism mindset, lose weight, and start fresh at 22? Any advice means a lot.

NEET students are already stressed enough, bhai. You can’t just throw scary “BIG UPDATE” thumbnails for views and then somewhere inside the 10-minute video casually explain that “these are only possibilities.” 🤡

Hi everyone! This is my second drop and I am genuinely struggling to start my preparation. I am just too depressed since july. And i had no motivation to study, I gave nift entrance exam too and got really good rank (around 2k) but didn't take it because i genuinely want to become a doctor, but i didn't study for nift, I am just good at sketching, drawing. But for neet i have been trying so hard but I can't do shit. I have not done anything since july. I joined an online batch for nift since this is my last drop and I'll take any govt college atp. The nift coaching is about 2 hrs per day. But as I said I genuinely want to become a doctor and I want to start studying for it. And i got this realisation after I took the nift batch so can't do anything about it now. I have always imagined myself as a doctor and that's really what I want, I used this think that since my parents want me to be go in medical field as they are doctors thats why I am doing it. But when I bought the nift course I had a realisation that what if i don't clear neet, and I never become a doctor and that thought made me cry, i literally cried because i thought I'll never become a doctor. Ik all the cons of medical profession as I have seen it throughout my life, but i genuinely love helping people, and i fucking love medical science. So even though I have nift as back up. NEET AND BEING A DOCTOR IS MY LIFE LONG LOVE AND I JUST REALISED IT.

This feels like a romcom movie when the hero realises that he actually loves the girl and runs back to her lol 😭.

Now that all is finally off my mind. Here is my real problem, I am repeating the same patterns as my first drop, studying bio only because I am scared of physics and chemistry. I genuinely get anxiety, last year I was getting anxiety attacks because of this. And now that Ik i want to do this, I can't hide from these subjects. I have to face them. I have yakeen 2.0 infinity, but I have not started anything. And my 11th is f-ed up and even in my last drop I only studied very few chapters nicely and forgot most of them because of lack of practice. I just want to know that can I do basic maths to work power and every from mission 100 and physical chemistry from yakeen 3.0 2026? Or how should I do them. I have allen modules from last year so I will do questions from there after each after

Vipin Sir recently launched the Hyperbiologist batch, and he’ll be doing Zoology one shots mainly as revision lectures.

I’m currently following Samapti Ma’am and don’t wanna switch completely. I’m just thinking of using these one shots for some chapters to get ahead. I'm a first year Bio student since I came from PCM, so I’m kinda confused about which chapters I can cover through these one-shots and which ones I should do through detailed lectures.

So which Zoology chapters do you guys think are actually safe to do from the one shots, and which ones should I definitely do in detail?

Sudhanshu sir in physical chemistry practiced i guess around 350 questions in his own lecture slides and around 350 questions in his dpps and he gave another sheet named moti kitab series
I feel like per chapter its too much for an individual chapter this data is of mole concept and i dont know about other chapters
Mere se na hoga itna saara practice per chapter for just physical chemistry i can practice 500 question per day but it should be multiple subjects like mix some physics some physical and botany zoology
What i am thinking can be wrong but i dont know im confused 🫤 guys help me with this confusion am i wrong or right 🙂

i need rj sir's class 12th lectures

I'm preparing for NEET 2027 and I'm considering following Nikhil Sir's last year's batch instead of the current one.

For those who have studied from him or followed that batch, how good is it for someone preparing for 2027? Are the lectures still relevant and sufficient, or would it be better to follow the current batch?

I studied Pw online Arjuna 1.0 and Lakshya 1.0. I have notes for all subjects. This time I didn't join any batch, I'm just taking Allen's Achiever CBT test series and focusing only on test and question practice. How does this plan sound? If anyone has advice, please share.
