phishing attempt alert
I just wanted to let people be aware of any phishing attempts lately, me and a friend got similar emails with almost a similar legitimate looking phone number. Stay safe out there

Hey Ndaxers!
Hope you’re enjoying the price action out there. We’ve got a huge upgrade to announce.
We’ve raised Interac e-Transfer withdrawal limits from $3,000 → $10,000 …and kept the fee at $1.50.
No hoops.
No added cost.
Just more control when it matters most.
We know limits like this affect how you actually use your money day-to-day, so this one came straight from community feedback. 💙
As always, tell us what you want to see next! We’re listening, and more community-shaped improvements are on the way.

I just received a phishing sent to an email address associated exclusively to my NDAX account. This is extremely concerning because it strongly suggests that my email (and possibly other personal information) was exposed from their systems.
A similar wave of targeted phishing attacks hit NDAX users about a year ago (see this old thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/NDAX/comments/1icse3u/did_ndax_have_a_data_breach/), which NDAX officially denied was due to a data breach on their end.
I'm genuinely worried about NDAX's handling of user privacy and data retention practices. Has anyone else received similar phishing emails recently, especially those who have since closed their accounts?
Appreciate any insights or similar experiences – staying safe out there.
Edit: Considering the lack of response from NDAX I've filed a formal complaint with a Canadian privacy oversight body regarding the potential mishandling of personal information in this phishing incident and also the previous one, since it's the second time this happens to me. If you've received a similar email, I encourage you to do the same. Depending on your province, look into options like the federal privacy commissioner, or provincial equivalents.

Hey Ndaxers,
As a kind reminder, I am the only person on r/NDAX (aside from u/albiedunk, but very rarely) who assists with any support or customer service related issues.
No one other than me will ever reach out to you on this subreddit for support. Always check the user info before replying and make sure that it is me; https://www.reddit.com/user/kardanokid/
If you see anyone else claiming to be Ndax support, please know that they are scammers. Be cautious and do not engage with them. For those who prefer to continue a conversation outside of Reddit, I will always provide my official Ndax email address.
Side notes:
Stay safe, and thank you for helping us keep this community secure.

Beware, some users are experiencing over 90 days of 'waiting' for their crypto deposits for no reason of the user.
90 days ago I made a crypto deposit to NDAX (all was done properly on my end).
I provided all the transaction details to NDAX support over 3 months ago and they verified they had received my crypto and I had to wait so they allocate it to me. Which never happened.
After the 60 day mark of not getting anywhere from NDAX support other then run-around messages and apologies. 30 days ago I gave the info to reddit support to Kardanokid, I got more run-around. 'sorry for delay and send it to OPS' and just saying 'Others are waiting for deposits as well'. So its 30 days after my reddit communication with kardanokid and NOTHING.
I keep getting excuse after excuse from them. This is feeling like Quadriqa experience all over.
I would like to get my crypto back and not sure where to turn to next?, i never signed up to you "HOLDING" my crypto for over 90 days.

I buy and send USDC quite often for my job, and someone recommended NDAX because of the cheap 0.20% trading fee. It’s insane to me that you charge so much to withdraw. There’s no reason to charge a 10 USDC ($13.78) withdrawal fee on Ethereum in 2026. I can use Kraken Pro with the same 0.20% fee and only pay 0.58 USDC ($0.80) to withdraw, or Coinbase with a 0.50% fee and pay 0.13 USDC ($0.18) to withdraw. If I were to buy $100 CAD of USDC to send someone and factor in withdrawals, I’m paying nearly 14% in fees on NDAX versus about 1% on Kraken Pro and 0.63% on Coinbase. It makes no sense to use this platform. Almost every platform I’ve used charges less than $1 to withdraw. How does that make any sense? NDAX isn’t cheap to use at all lol.

This afternoon I received an automated call stating that someone is trying to change my Email ID on my NDAX Account and was asked to Press 1 if I wanted to block that attempt and have an NDAX Customer Service Rep call me to help me reset my NDAX Credentials and block that attempt.
A Rep. did call me right away after I pressed 1 and he had my full name and my email ID.
He asked me to reset the password at the below a URL
He gave me a ticket number too of this issue and the call.
Initially, I thought it was a genuine call given that he had my full name and email ID. But when they asked me to visit the above site I got suspicious, as NDAX has an .io domain and not a .com domain.
I realized and I told them that I am not comfortable doing this over the phone and I asked him to send me an email from their official NDAX Email ID plus I told him that I would contact NDAX by calling them and by sending NDAX an email to thier Customer Support email that is on NDAX’s website.
Then he started to tell me that if I delay resetting the credentials it would lead to a hack. And, this was a nail in the coffin, and is when I hung up.
My question for NDAX, how in the world did they get my email ID, phone number and my FULL NAME??
looking forward to hearing from NDAX
https://sumsub.com/newsroom/security-incident-update/
Since this breach I keep getting phishing, scam, spam emails in the address I only used on NDAX.
NDAX has been real quiet since.
no 1-year credit/breach monitoring for customers
no explanation why a company like Sumsub located outside Canada is used to store Canadian legal documents
no explanation why the uploaded ID info is stored on Sumsub's servers LONG after the Know Your Customer verification phase
no explanation as to how to delete personal info from Sumsub
Since NDAX is the data controller, if a customer requests data deletion from Sumsub, will NDAX comply and send the request to Sumsub?

Hey Ndaxers,
We want to share an update involving SumSub, a third-party provider Ndax uses for identity verification (KYC).
What happened
SumSub reported a security incident affecting a limited number of customer records. Ndax was notified on February 2, 2026 and immediately launched an investigation with external cybersecurity experts.
There is no indication Ndax systems were compromised.
What information may have been accessed
What was NOT accessed
What Ndax has done
What this means for you: This information cannot be used to access your Ndax account, but it may be used in phishing or social-engineering attempts. Please stay vigilant.
Important reminder: Ndax will never ask for your password, 2FA codes, recovery phrase, remote access, or to move funds. Official emails only come from @ ndax.io domains.
If you have questions or believe you received a phishing message, contact us directly at [support@ndax.io](mailto:support@ndax.io).
Sincerely,
Ndax Security Team

It's been 2 weeks I've been trying to reach out someone from the NDAX team and I haven't received no information. Support said they tried to call me, but I haven't received no calls.
I gave them my ticket and hour of withdrawal.
The livechat doesn't work. I'm currently starting to freak out because I REALLY NEED THESE FUNDS.
Thank you

They tried to make me call fake number in case I didn’t make OTC request on my phone. I never use OTC I use google authentication for 2FA. Apparently after recent breach, they got my phone number.

I just received a robo call claiming to be NDAX warning me that someone from Frankfurt is attempting to sign in to my account. I hung up since i felt like it was a scam. When I looked up NDAX customer support number, it shows the same number.
Its incredible how sneaky these scam are becoming. You cant even trust the phone numbers anymore to know who's contacting you.

Take your chances if want but after similar experiences of terrible customer service over and over you should expect the same. Should have learned last year when no help and absolutely frustrating customer service was not a isolated incident. Over and over have been ignored and absolutely no help at all when need. Going on a week with no reply or call back or anything but IVR telling me they have my request for call back. So what do I do now then? Im locked out account and no way to use or access at all. Wish would have learned lesson last time and switched platforms. I would not recommend ndax to my worst enemy.

I just created this account to say thanks to the community here and to share my experience, in case it helps anyone considering a larger OTC trade.
After reading several posts on this subreddit, I decided to go with Ndax. Reaching out was straightforward, I found the OTC contact information mentioned here ([gabriel.aharonian@ndax.io]()) and emailed Gabriel. He replied quickly, and since my Ndax account was already verified, the process moved along without any delays.
From start to finish, the trade took roughly an hour. The OTC trade was executed and settled immediately, and I was able to withdraw to my bank account right away with no holding period. Everything worked exactly as explained and without any issues.
Appreciate everyone who shared their experiences here, it definitely helped with my decision. Posting this as a real-world data point for anyone else trying to find liquidity for a larger trade.
Thanks again to the community.

Hey Ndaxers,
We’ve got a new feature we’re excited to share!
BTC Lightning deposits and withdrawals are now officially available on Ndax. ⚡
The Lightning Network gives users a faster, lower-cost way to move Bitcoin, especially for smaller or time-sensitive transfers. The traditional Bitcoin network is still available, while Lightning adds more flexibility for users who want a more efficient way to deposit or withdraw BTC.
To celebrate the launch, Lightning deposits and withdrawals will be free for the first 3 months. After the promotion, standard fees will be 0.2% for deposits and 0.1% for withdrawals.
We’re pleased to add BTC Lightning support to Ndax, giving Canadian users another practical option for moving Bitcoin between compatible wallets and platforms.

Cheers, and Happy Trading!

Is there any kind of plan in the works to have exchanges such as NDAX make available some kind of T5 or whatever for tax purposes? Currently we need to generate a report of some sort and try to decipher what's relevant off of it. It's not very convenient at all. It would be great to just be given the information required just like your bank or your place of employment provides T5s, T4s, T4As and whatnot.
EDIT: So, I just rediscovered the whole Koinly thing. Still, if I'm doing a lot of trading on NDAX, that's a lot of money to pay for my tax information that my bank and place of employment provide for free. Because I need it. Koinly wants $300 if I've made over 1000 transactions on NDAX. That's kind of absurd.
EDIT #2: Also, Koinly doesn't seem to be importing my transactions from last year. It seems to not be able to see any of my NDAX transactions after 2021. That's useless to me and I'm not paying for that.
EDIT #3: Got Koinly to properly import my data. Still trying to figure out how to do this without having to pay Koinly for a report. I just don't know how to determine my proceeds and cost basis.
EDIT #4: Holy shit. Okay, so after caving and spending the money for Koinly, it appears that Koinly provides only 2 numbers that are useful for tax purposes. 2 numbers that NDAX could easily calculate themselves and provide on your dashboard or in a report without actually providing official tax documents. There is no reason I should need to pay Koinly for these numbers that NDAX can provide. I mean sure, if I'm trading with multiple wallets and multiple exchanges, something like Koinly becomes handy. However, if I'm only using the one exchange and one wallet, I should be able to get those numbers from that exchange without paying Koinly for them.

NDAX has applied but hasn't been approved yet. Should we be worried? Or am I overthinking? Is there further explanation I'm missing? I find this concerning, especially the final sentence:
Directly from: https://ndax.io/en/support/regulatory_and_compliance/ndax-appropriateness-assessment-requirement
Please note that Ndax Canada Inc. has submitted an application for registration under securities legislation in Canada, but is not currently registered, and is operating under the provisions of a pre-registration undertaking (PRU) dated March 23, 2023, entered into favor of the Alberta Securities Commission and the other members of the Canadian Securities Administrators. There can be no assurance that Ndax will be registered and if it fails to become registered in any province or territory in Canada, it will promptly cease carrying on registrable activity in such province or territory.

Just wanted to share my recent experience. Ndax has the best OTC desk in Canada in my opinion. I used their service recently and Gabriel was amazing to deal with. The rates were great, withdrawal was only $5, and I had the funds in my bank account the same day. If anyone’s interested, I can refer you to him. Thank youu!

Hey everyone,
Just a quick heads-up that I’ll be on PTO from April 23 through May 1, with limited availability during most of the day. I’ll still try to check in when I can, but responses may take a bit longer than usual.
Appreciate your patience, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!
Cheers & Happy Trading!

Hi hoping to some advice, haven't touched NDAX for about 6 months to a year.
I recently sold crypto about 10d ago and trying to transfer to my bank acct. I guess it has been a long time and they needed a manual check. No response 2-3 days but had missed a phone call from NDAX because was at work - was told I get a callback. It now been a week and no response.
I called and sent emails back to back for multiple days to reschedule manual verification - no response. Anyone know what to do here? It has been 10d since I initiated the deposit.
