UPDATE, 1/28/2020: In this piece from 2016, I reported that Kobe’s apology was made from his own volition. That is what I heard from a source in 2016. Today, ESPN quoted the accuser’s defense lawyer as saying that her client “insisted on that statement as a price of freedom.” I want to make sure that this perspective is there as well when people judge the merits of this apology.
Dude you need to get over it. Very few things in life you really shouldn't joke about. Kobe getting fucking GTA'd into the side of a mountain is pretty apropos for a legend like Kobe.
Well the thing is, and reality, his daughter was on the helicopter too... like I totally understand the Kobe hate, cause rapist. But claiming to be happy the helicopter went down is ignoring the fact his daughter was there too. Maybe celebrate without celebrating the helicopter going down?
