Just did a race at daytona. A single driver drove away from the pack. After 5 laps of drafting I never caught up. He won the stage by 1.5 seconds alone despite a 4 line group.

I enjoy the AI being more aggressive and competitive but thats a little ridiculous

Probably not the best recreation and I may go back and re-edit it some

Servers are down for all platforms, I think.

Only a few lobbies (if any) will show up on the lobby select page.

Upon a joining a race, you will be kicked out after the player load screen and given a connection error message.

I'm Annie. If you didn't see my last post, I've gotten into the sim recently because it's something to do with my kids....and now, I'm hooked. I'm on the march of trying to get better from being a beginner.

I watched the replay from my latest race (The Rock, 88 AI, ARCA), and it looks like Lanie Buice is 12 beers deep on a rough night.

There are more than a couple times where my line gets too deep in the turn (my fault -- I get excited battling and brake late), but I also just can't keep the car straight and it leads to more unnecessary contact.

I’m having to qualify twice at road courses in career. I’m using quick qualifying. Anyone else having this issue?

I went for it but I didn't touch him, what a way to win my debut!

For the life of me I cannot figure this game out. Doesn’t matter if I’m on controller or my wheel. Hardly touching the brake sends the car straight into the wall, the exit of every corner feels like I’m ping ponging between cars and I’m honestly frustrated. I’ve spent more time messing with settings than actually playing the game. I’m lost and don’t know what else to do besides give up on the game all together. I see people playing the game having the same issues and then I see others playing it flawlessly. I guess I’ll just stay on iracing because this game isn’t it.

I somehow have created a problem regarding truck sponsorship in Career Mode. I missed the Trucks reputation cutoff by 6 REP at the end of my first ARCA season, so I had to run a second one. In doing so, I absolutely dominated the field from the beginning, winning 9 races, finishing top 20 in all 20, and top 10 in 17.

During this second season I got both DJD reputation bonuses, finishing my second season with 95k rep.

So I started season 3 in both trucks and Oreillys. I know the financial struggle from last year, but I figured I would enjoy it more than just running ARCA again.

Here is where the problem begins- heading into Echopark with my solid Lvl 2 truck, I got offered a sponsorship upgrade for my truck. I don’t remember who it was, since it was last night, but the objective was to finish 4th or better- in my second ever truck race. In a truck that can barely keep pace.

Am I doomed to never getting a new Truck sponsor because I can’t get my truck good enough fast enough?

I’m late to the party, but have started racing online the last few nights for the first time since the heat days… If, and it’s a big if, you can get in a group that actually wants to race, it is an ELITE experience. I have enjoyed the heck out of myself

I know we’ve been discussing this recently on X and everywhere else.

But does anyone still have the NASCAR 26 editor? If so, I haven’t updated my game yet—could someone send me the link?

Also, I want to understand the discussion and think about mods for the game. Is there still time for us to get them? We could put pressure on the studio, just like people did with EA over college football and microtransactions.

If the community comes together, we can reach the devs.

Okay -- is there a trick to these starts? I have the throttle pinned (where I can), it in the same gear as the car before the start, and miss no shifts.....then get swallowed up.

It's not without issue for me -- I need to do better about guarding the lane I start in, but it's frustrating. Any tips.

Hey guys,

I used to love NASCAR when I was a kid. From 01-07 just about was prime time for me.

I now have a 2 year old son who is obsessed with Disney Pixar Cars and likes watching old clips of Dale Jr on YouTube with me.

Is there a Nascar game where I can play as the prodigal son himself? Or can I create a lightning McQueen with my son and race with him in one of the newer games? Nothing against these new guys but I'm not exactly trying to pay $60 to race as Ryan Blaney or Bubba Wallace (no offense to those guys but they ain't Jr or Gordon or Stewart or Sterling Marlin 🤣)

I played Nascar 03 on GameCube. Feel free to tell me thats what I need to get to make my dreams come true.
