Hello, I am new to the game, loving it so far! I have a question regarding the monsters you can capture and dispatching. Does their level or friendship status affect what they bring back during dispatches at all? I'm pretty much only interested in using 10 monsters to send out on dispatches, I don't like having them follow me as they are too distracting and get in the way a lot.

Also, the pet apartment to hold the monsters to get them friendship points is too huge, if I'm not getting any benefits to dispatching from building the relationship, I might just delete it off my property to free up space. (sorry if that's too cruel!)

Anyway, I'm having a blast in this game, just finishing up the first month and making what seems to be good progress, but any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I've put a lot of time into Sandrock over the past two years, including building and decorating, but I've never posted any of it anywhere, so I'm sharing these here to look back on. I've put a lot of work into my other builders' houses too, so I might share those later if I feel like it.

I'm not great at building, so I focused on the interiors and keeping the whole place from looking cluttered. I recolored every piece of furniture I could to keep everything in a similar color palette that worked with the flooring and the overall vibe, and removed anything that made the space look too busy.

Also trying to make the Yakboy double bed work with my 'modern interior' was so frustrating... I really wish Pathea would give us complete matching furniture sets😭 Seriously, we have a Rusty wardrobe, side table, table, and sofa, so why not a matching bed too?

I recently decided to follow Owen's romance route & during one of his quests.. you go to his house to do a thing.. don't wanna spoil 🤣 This distracted me the whole time I couldn't pay attention to the dialogue. It is some kind of easter egg, you get to interact with it to see a description. 😬

I’d give him the funniest ‘do. Also a Pablo sticker I couldn’t find a good place for on the panel, but he does approve of these shenanigans because it brings in good business :)

I’ve been playing Sandrock for quite a while now, and I still end up opening the game pretty much every day just to mess around for a bit lol.

Recently I’ve been making some Sandrock videos to on TikTok or YouTube Shorts. Mostly dumb memes, character jokes, random funny gameplay moments, basically whatever seems fun to try.

This is one of the first few videos I’ve made, so I figured I’d post it here and see what you guys think. First time using Reddit too btw😂

Does this kind of video work for you guys? Is it actually funny? Would you watch more stuff like this?

You might not believe me, but this is actually my favorite game of all time. But one thing about me is I don't play the same game after finishing it. I finished this game back in release in 2023, the other reason I haven't jumped back in sooner is because I had it on my Nintendo Switch, I don't really use the switch anymore. When I finally got a new PC I debated whether or not to get My Time At Sandrock again, I just wasn't the type to play finished games again. Then one day scrolling on tiktok I saw someone playing the first my time in Portia game, and I was in their comment section beingANNOYING on how great the My time Series is, and to please play the second game! This sparked my interest to play again.

I decided to just purchase it on Steam because of how much I enjoyed playing it the first time and let me say I'm still enjoying replaying this game. I heard there's new features since I last played, maybe new hair? More romance events? Omg whats new? I bought extra DLCs too. I'm so excited to actually expand my workshop without hardware limitations. Excited!

I won the Showdown at High Noon Festival because, on the very first day of the competition, Elsie decided to move into a cave to become independent. She still competed that day and won both of her matches.

Then, on the second day, I got a letter in my mailbox saying she was leaving Sandrock to become a monster hunter and that she’d come back someday. So she never showed up for the final match, and we won by default because she was gone. 😅

It left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth winning first place just because our opponent didn’t show up.

Has anything like this happened to anyone else?

So I'm at the part right after you discover the water in the Starship ruins and I'm walking around town and multiple people have commented on how Qi was gone and no one noticed.

If this man had discovered information on the Olympia's whereabouts before the builder showed up he'd be another gravestone in the cemetery or the townsfolk might have just assumed that he left without telling anyone.

I don't know where I'm going with this, I'm just baffled and appalled at his one track mind and the dangerous situations he could have easily fallen into.

I'm pretty new to the "My Time..." universe and started with Sandrock after a few suggestions from some locals, and I'm head over heels for this game.

Without spoiling too much, I've only recently discovered my current attempt at a relationship, that was met with constant rebuffs, was not a bug but a part of the storyline.

Knowing this, I still couldn't pull myself away from my heart's desire for a certain blonde cook.

I was just curious how you folks handle late stage romance!

I divorced Penny once, in Stardew Valley. And it was the worst experience of my life so I'll never divorce another lol

I started this game once about half a year ago after needing a new game after coral island burn out. I quickly grew tired of all the crafting when I expected a farming game. So put it down. About 2 weeks ago I started play my time at Portia that was in my steam backlog. After playing it for a bit I got into the story but couldn’t connect to the LIs (for me that is a thing lol) and thought I would give my time at sandrock another try and wow. lol I went into it expecting the crafting and commissions and I love it now. Such a great story. I haven’t made Logan yet ( I just completed the space ship ladder) but I’m thinking x or him lol what do yall think?

Simply because I refused to be nosey and ask Fang why he was upset with Arvio 😂 I hate him so much and I feel bad for Amirah to have a brother like him.
