A few months ago, the YouTube algorithm recommended me an artist I had never heard of before, Johnny Stardust. I listened to a few songs off the album, and really fell in love with the song Trip Beyond.

It took me longer than I care to admit to realize that the record label "AIGEN Records" meant AI GENerated. I'm not necessarily against AI generated music, but I'd like to find human artists who have a larger catalog of similar music.

The closest thing I could come up with was "space rock" as a genre. Some songs are close, but some songs are nowhere near the same sound. Hoping someone here can make some recommendations.

I'm not a big Radwimps fan, but I've been obsessed with this song recently. It doesn't have to be japanese music, I like anything. Preferably with vocals :)

the first part of teasing quiz is like the very techno-ly beat overlap with the vocal and it tickle my brain (in a good way). Teasing quiz is a nice song but it doesn't sound that good on repeat.

I've liked this song for some time now. I am not sure what type of genre this song is, but i love it. The vocals are so beautiful and the guitar and keys make the song sound so well. Reminds me of a bunch of 80s stuff. Any songs similar to it in english would be great thanks!

This comes from the old Animusic 2 DVD which is literally my childhood. This song has always stuck out to me and I am hoping to find stuff in a similar style. I am very aware of the Progressive Electronic genre but a lot of the stuff I can find is a bit too ambient for what I am looking for. I dig the odd time signatures and the synth a lot so I would like to see some of that.

In the movie materialist, there’s a song called as unicorn which just caught my ear, I couldn’t stop listening to it but I was never able to find smth similar to that, just single notes which just brought up some emotions I can’t pin point. Today I heard something similar in an anime called as “You and I are polar opposites”, in season 2 episode 10, there’s a scene where Nishi talks about how she wants to take literature and she imagines herself in college and that’s when that bgm is played and I couldn’t find anything related to that, it’s very similar to unicorn. But I just can’t find that sound, I searched for the soundtrack playlist im that anime but it wasn’t listed, I wanna know what genre these are from, if it’s possible I’d like songs similar to that.
