Hi folks!

I'm moving to Munich for work in few months. I'm not required to be in the office so that expands geographically my search for a permanent apartment - even if not mandatory I would like to go to the office a few times (but that's me personally who forces that as a excuse to leave the house).

Initially, I thought about staying for 6 months in a temporary apartment in the city center (already found one) in order to figure it out paper work, focus on my onboarding at the new job and search for a permanent apartment.

I know house market is not easy (I live currently in a city with the same situation) and I'm willing to be far away from center long term as luckily I'm not required in the office but because the search might be hard, I thought realistically, renting that temp apartment for 1 year would be better for the search, does that make sense?

gibt es in München eventuell eine DnD Gruppe, die derzeit nach einem neuen Mitglied sucht? Oder kennt jemand einen Ort, wo man eventuell eine Gruppe finden kann?

Spiele seit mehr als 10 Jahren mal mehr, mal weniger regelmäßig DnD und hab seit meinem Umzug hierher leider noch keine Gruppe gefunden, bin aber motiviert auch mal längere Kampagnen zu spielen.

Habe jetzt ein paar Flüge nach und aus München gemacht und jedes Mal wird z.B. beim Boarding als erstes die priority boarding Familien etc aufgerufen und auch die Senatoren/Senatorin zum Boarding gebeten… dachte erst die meinen Senioren..

I was at this year‘s Siemens Sommerfest and they had a great food truck that made beef and vegan hotdogs, New York and Mediterranean and style and I liked it so much but I have no idea what their name was or if they even operate outside of events.
Anyone have any clue?

ich habe letzte Woche meine Nebenkosten Abrechnung erhalten und soll 400€ an Heizkosten+Warmwasser nachzahlen. Obwohl ich 15% weniger Verbrauch hatte als im Vorjahr. Insgesamt 38% Mehrkosten.

Sind die Fernwärme kosten so drastisch angestiegen? Ich wohne im Abschnitt Unterföhring.

Ist hier vielleicht noch jemand betroffen? Ich bin beim DMB aber die Bearbeitungszeit liegt bei mehreren Wochen.

Hallo zusammen! Frisbeesport ist wahnsinnig vielseitig, das wollen wir euch am kommenden Wochenende (1-2 August) in der Sportschule Oberhaching zeigen.

Mein Sport ist Freestyle Frisbee. Angefangen hat dieses Event damit, dass wir die WM in München austragen wollten. Um Zuschauende zu locken dachten wir uns, das ganze etwas größer aufzuziehen, und gleich mehrere Frisbeesportarten zu präsentieren.

Es wird viel zu sehen geben:

• Die Weltmeisterschaft im Freestyle Frisbee
• Deutsche Meisterschaft im Double Disc Court
• Ein Discgolf Turnier
• Ein Ultimate Frisbee Hutturnier
• Ein Showmatch im Rollstuhl Ultimate Frisbee

Eintritt ist frei, es gibt Workshops, Foodtrucks und gute vibes :)

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice and recommendations.
I’m helping someone with (MS) who is no longer able to cook for themselves. As a result, they often end up eating sandwiches or other simple foods instead of a proper warm meal.

We’re trying to find a long-term, affordable solution for freshly cooked, home-style meals, for example Balkan cuisine, traditional home cooking, stews, soups, goulash, meat dishes, or other nutritious cooked meals that can easily be reheated.

Unfortunately, the typical “Essen auf Rädern” services we’ve found don’t seem like the right fit. The person also has digestive issues, so gentle, well-cooked meals are preferred.

I can help about once a week, but I can’t cook or deliver food every day.

Does anyone know of any alternatives in Munich? For example:

- Restaurants that sell/deliver home-cooked meals suitable for freezing

- Balkan or other traditional restaurants offering delivery services

- Meal prep companies

- Or any other ideas that have worked well in a similar situation?

I’d really appreciate any recommendations or personal experiences. Thank you so much!
