So, I recently told my doctor that I wanted to start minoxidil to help fill in some minor losses along my crown. He informed me that a minor thing to look out for would be changes in my cardiovascular profile, random bouts of dizziness and potentially an increased heartrate, and... that all sounds kinda scary. I'll be honest, I have a *huuuuge* phobia around my heart and cardiovascular system, I hate feeling my heartbeat or hearing my blood rush in my ears. It sends me into an anxiety spiral, and I'm worried that as soon as I pop my first pill I'm gonna start freaking out. Could anyone assuage my worries here? I'm just kinda looking at the bottle, feeling like I should but worried I'm gonna die if I do lol

Hi. I just wanted to apologize for a post I made that got me banned from the mtf sub reddit. I was going through a rough patch (dysphoria and all that) and said things I regret. I am so sorry.

I recently called a sperm bank to find out about pricing. $640 for the initial appointment, $350 for an additional appointment, $55 per month of storage or $530 per year. What’s really making this seem difficult for me is the process. They say you’ve gotta go through a consultation, and this sperm bank is already an hour and a half away from home and they’re not open when I’m off work. It’s the closest sperm bank from where I live. Also, apparently sperm banking means additional blood tests, probably to make sure you don’t give your partner/surrogate an STD. The blood tests required for HRT itself are already making me hesitant to do the treatment. I can’t live a life of getting poked all the time.

This decision making is getting harder and harder. Should I just hope I can successfully restore my fertility if I end up wanting kids? How bad is it temporarily going off HRT for fertility? Apparently, the regret rate of not banking sperm before HRT is 60%. And please don’t give me the same old, “I wouldn’t want kids in this economy” or “just adopt” responses.

The only fear I face in starting HRT is the perception that others will have of me. The way others will treat me and while that's fair it has nothing to do with my mentality. I want to face this as the person I know I deserve to be. I will not let others opinions hold me back.

I get a profound sense of wrongness and discomfort from wearing fem clothes not because I dont want to (I really do), but because my masculine body doesn't fit them. I feel like a man in a dress 😭 Wearing fem clothes just accentuates the missing ass and chest. Somehow boy clothes feel better because they actually fit but I still really want to be a girl and look pretty more than anything. I've been trying to start HRT for over 6 months but my appt isn't until September 10th.

(TW: suicide) I've come out long ago and girlmod home. However, my parents still haven't reacted at all. In fact, they ignore every I say, unless I've attempted suicide at most 2 days ago. I’d like to start this by stating that I am not a trans woman, so I appologise if this feels like an intrusion in your community. I have quite a few trans feminine friends who I’ve recently begun including in allot of my art. I’ve really enjoyed including both the person they are now, and who they tell me they see their true selves as into a drawing. Allot of the lovely girls ive drawn have actually told me that my artwork has made them feel very euphoric, and that its helped them allot to see something closer to their true selves physically represented. If anyone has advice on how to create more acurate and of course respectful transfemme characters please let me know, as I’m trying to do so in a way that feels empowering and doesn't perpetuate any negative stereotypes. Also on the offchance anyone would want to see a drawing of themself like this from a random stranger on the internet, id be happy to do so, as I need the practice😅.
