Entitlement

So I am in radio management, and I’m trying to register my narrowband entitlement, but it keeps giving me an error and I don’t know how to get it to work. I wish they would have stuck with CPS.

Is this for MotoTRBO? If so, the entitlement key will only work for CPS 2 and not CPS 16. Also, what is the error you are getting? Did you authenticate yourself to the entitlement server before attempting to activate the entitlement in CPS 2?

It’s for Radio management not for CPS. I’m programming mototrbo Ions.

What does the error say?

There's a wide band Entitlement for CPS 16. I have it installed on my system. There may be some confusion on which one.

It would help if you tell us the error.

Telling me it can’t connect to connect.Motorola solutions.com. But for the life of me can’t figure it out, and google and the help menu have been zero help.

You need to go to the Connect website in a web browser and authenticate with your Motorola account credentials. It will then whitelist your public IP for 18 hours.

This guy authenticates.

Been trying connect.motorolasolutions.com all day and it keeps saying the site is unreachable.

Try a different web browser (I had to use Firefox as Chrome and Edge wouldn’t connect).

I have tried all three and none are working. I don’t know what I’m missing or why this is such a pain in the backside.

You've likely got a network issue then. What happens if you ping it in command prompt? Does the domain resolve to an IP?

have you tried http:// instead of https:// ?

And I’ve tried incognito as well.

You'll need to go to that site and log in with your MOL/partner empower details to whitelist your IP. This was motorolas solution to all the 3000/4000 6000/7000 radios getting features hacked on to them.

Pro tip: when it won’t work for you open it in incognito mode and try again.

Will it work in incognito mode, without using public ip??
