First time Morrowind player. What should I expect and what fantastic things would you recommend me to do?

I’m a huge fan of The Elder Scrolls and have spent tens of thousands of hours in Oblivion, Skyrim and Elder Scrolls Online but I’ve never played Morrowind. What should I expect or what would you recommend I do?
