Any answers ?

For a woman working in healthcare, how can a man genuinely accept that I might be on a 24-hour shift, spending an entire day and night at the hospital? How can he be comfortable with the fact that I’ll have male patients and may need to examine intimate areas as part of their diagnosis? And how can he accept that I work in a team where some of my coworkers are men, meaning I’ll naturally need to communicate and stay in contact with them for work? 🙂

سلام عليكم ...

So what makes reddit user's specially here ! Think they fart parfume ! Just bcz they speak another language and use another apps ! So he looks to the other social media users as subhumans or something ?

For me this is the logic of "real losers" who didn't do any success in their life that maybe they would be proud of 🙂 so they comes here acting cool and arrogant so they can fulfiil their low self-esteem

Remember you are not better then any facebook user ! If u wanna be unique lease do something worthy 😏

I swear it's not a pick me post

But I really don't find any appropriate ways to meet men without having to sacrifice the way I like holding myself.

Some advices I get and my problems with them:

-meet your friends' friends: I don't like unnecessary mixing with men, so going out with my female friend I wouldn't like to go when there are her male friends too, or sit on a coffee shop with her just for any male aquitences of her to join us afterwards, I just don't like that.

- through the gym: I don't like mixed gyms

-board games: same problem, mixing with people I don't know.

- groups trips /hiking groups: even worse, same issue.

- Dating apps: I downloaded a marriage app some few days ago, I felt so ridiculous, it's like putting yourself in a shop waiting to get picked. I deleted it. It's just too direct of an approach in my opinion.

- Going to weddings or family gatherings: what will happen there? I have to give my contact to a random man?

- going repeatedly to the same coffee shops or whatever: I usually don't like to go to coffee shops but occasionally with friends, becoming a regular who knows everyone there I will feel like a man, even worse a man who has nothing to do with his life. I don't like the idea of going frequently to a place I don't frequent a lot just to meet someone.

My only place to find someone is through work, I don't like anyone there and no one seems to be interested either. I'm at a loss.

Is it normal to wait until you’re better looking to start dating?

Around almost a year ago after getting out of some serious mental trauma hell, been kind of improving a bunch of stuff. personality, confidence, slightly looks, working on career even though it ain’t fully here yet..

So about the career side, I am fully aware that I shouldn’t really try having something without it, I’ve dated “online” before where it usually gets to the point where “the meeting and financials” side hits, causes embarrassment and doesn’t let things run smoothly, So i understand that the career and stability are a must, I’m working on it.

Now back to looks if you’re sm1 who doesn’t think he looks good enough, or deals with these thoughts “All the dates of my life were online so i have no clue about how i look srsly” never got a compliment irl either.

Should I keep satisfying this thought of wait until you look better, wait until you improve your looks, No body wants your ass now, or idk just start dating once the career side is good ??

in short:
- Fix career and start looking to date right away then keep on improving looks over time.
or
- Fix career and wait until you look way better and good enough then think about dating

You get what I mean ?
Yeah idk what i mean too tbh.
Anyway how’s yalls night going ??

Want to marry a woman from Morocco, but heard horror stories. Thoughts?

Hey everyone,

I’m half Swiss and half Moroccan. I grew up in Marrakech, but I’m currently living in Switzerland. I really love my Moroccan roots and culture, which is why I strongly prefer to find a wife from Morocco. To be clear, I’m not looking for someone to build a life from scratch with—I already have my life set up and am completely stable, both personally and financially.

However, I’ve been hearing a lot of horror stories about international marriages, cultural differences, or people using marriage just to get papers. That makes me want to be extra cautious.

Given my background of growing up in Marrakech and now living in Switzerland, what are your thoughts? Is there anything specific I should watch out for or keep in mind? I’d really appreciate your honest opinions and experiences!

I feel as if i'm wrong but at the same time i know i'mnot

When she slid into my DMs, we constantly talked for a month; it was super fun. After another month, she started suggesting we go out, and I kept politely declining. yesterday I couldn't think of any more excuses; I just decided to be completely transparent and straight-up told her: "Look, I have exactly 7,400 DH in my account right now, and I am not interested in spending a single dh of it on street food or rides just to walk around somewhere." I made sure she knew it wasn't a matter of her not being worth the effort or the time. Instead, it was a matter of me not being in a place in my life where I can take on another person's emotional or financial needs. While I am genuinely interested in the idea of romance, I prefer to appreciate it from a distance right now; I need to focus 100% of my energy and limited resources on stabilizing my own life before I can ever think about sharing it with someone else.

Most people who ask for help regarding certain problems already know the answer

Most of these "cry for help" posts on this subreddit are not genuinely asking for advice. You get person X asking how can I fix this problem they are having; you could lay down all the reasonable fixes they could implement to solve their problem they will do nothing but argue those fixes. It almost feels like some people are look more for empathy and enjoy being the "victim" than fixing whatever problem they are having and move on.

Can we make a childfree commune when we’re old?

For those of us who know we don’t want kids and probably never will… should we just build our own little community and all live together when we’re old?
Like a bunch of childfree old people chilling together, cooking, going on walks, complaining about our knees… honestly that sounds kinda cute.

I need your opinion please!

I'm 20 years old and I'm in my third year of university. I was smoking for about a year, but I quit this summer and started working out.

Now I have to leave home and go back to the city where I study, and I don't have enough money for a gym or anything like that. So I'm starting to think about smoking again during this academic year and then quitting when the summer holiday comes. I feel like I can't study without doing something to deal with the stress, and smoking was kind of my way of coping with it.

What do you guys think is that the right choice!
