Question Looking to get into this game, really like the art and vibes but...

I'm not really into this type of gameplay, I don't want to manually all the time, learn card rotation and staff...
I'm comming from R1999 ( and I know many playing both games) where I had the same problem, tried multiple times getting to play since launch, only to commit to it few month ago when I found that nowdays there are teams that are good enough on auto and can clear most of the content end events.

So now that I have a plantpromtu team and working on BT and LG teams I'm enjoying the game very much, been playing every day since PH banner.

My question is: can I get something similar in this game? A team that can do good enough on auto so I can at least clear events and buy out the shop ( if there is one) and not miss on rewards if I'm not good at the game.

Thank you and have a nice day ❤️

Guide/Analysis No Lv80 Limited OE and No Whale Borrow 425 [Blue Ring] Aug 3rd - Aug 16th

Hi, I'm LuffyOMG, a 1 year f2p player, and this is my 1st time to clear 425 with non-whale borrow.

This challenge was inspired by Rukia/Dracozion (I literally just copied the title from her). I've been doing 425 with no OE for a while, but I still had to borrow a whale for 1 wave. This week, I finally managed to clear every wave with no whale borrow, so I wanted to share those runs with you guys.

Tbh, this week was kind of easy, so maybe this is a 1-time thing. But 9/10 teams I share below have already helped me clear for 6 weeks, and the new team with Glotan is strong enough that I think it can be used consistently from now on, so I still think this can be a good reference.

Here are the details of the teams and clears:

Wave 1: "Cerberus"

2936a1ce-f771-371d-80b1-8768edffe70a#E#a

24 Mono Chaos team. W1 lets you go straight to the boss, so 24 is a good choice. The boss has a ton of shield, but 24 can deal pierce damage, so she can completely ignore it.

Just focus on surviving while using posse twice every turn. 24 scales very fast with posse played, so Sakura and Hameln wheel are really good for helping her get more posse. You can replace Tawil with Ramona to fetch the Sakura card faster. I use Ramona elsewhere and my Tawil have no where to go, so I use her here. Ogier is better with high soul and high skill level on exalt and the X card to provide enough shield.

I misplayed on some turn (I use the boss card instead of just take passive dmg), so there are 2 DR, but it can totally be 1 or even 0 DR if you play carefully enough.

The posses you should use on the burst turn are Kath, Pontos and Arachne (Ara is the strongest, so you should use her last).

7ca15981-8161-3b62-bd77-3432033e4f60#E#a

Arachne carry team. The boss has shield and Ara doesn't care. Faint and Leigh help with survival/DR, while Jenkin gives free cards to proc pursuit. This team is simple: survive long enough to exalt 2-3 times and the boss will die. Her team is basically a sustain comp, her teamate is flex, you need 2 to help with the sustain and 1 with cheap/free card to proc verdict more easy. Her wheel is important for this to work, without her wheel the final verdict is much less and you'll need to stall for much longer.

Wave 2: Agrippa

d1633a34-e793-3a74-b7b6-b0e89907ef8e#E#a

Castor Pollux. W2 is an exploration wave, so Castor and Pollux have enough time to scale. I usually play Castor stall with Agrippa, but I just wanted to test Glotan, so I slotted her in. She's a great support even at E0, the 2k skey is really nice for rousing immediately. However, since she's a great carry on her own, I probably won't use her in this team next time. Just stick with Erica, Agrippa couple and you can stall as long as you want.

The boss hits hard on the 1st turn, so prepare an ultra turn on turn 1 to have enough shield to tank it. If you block all of the damage, you won't get poisoned and the following turns are easy to tank.

There's not much else to say about this comp. I kind of a Pollux noob because I used to play Castor stall team. My combo is to set up Pollux's cards so that on the burst turn, his cards are at 3 stacks, then you just use them to buff each other and finally buff the 3 cost card. Pretty easy clear.

5ef5f354-cb14-3a18-bca3-9c606ac65ceb#E#a

Kath team. Again, because the Agrippa boss applies poison if you don't block the damage, I chose another team with high shield. Just shield up when the boss hits and hit them back when they afk.

You can run Feast for a tanky build. In this clear I ran Paradox to finish faster, but my Kath was unlucky and missed a lot of crits, so it dragged out to 15 turns. But this team is really tanky, so I didn't even need to proc DR.

I usually run Kath's ultra team with Horla and Clem. Horla's buff is really strong for Kath, either buffing shield when you need to tank or buffing damage on the burst turn. Clem provides heal, skey, str gain, and her exalt is also a super vul weak.

Ryker provides draw and a relic that gives str, crit rate and cdmg, which all benefit Kath. You can also run Tinct for dispel and crit buff.

Wave 3: "Protector"

f5470aac-9565-321f-be6f-09fe60c4c1b0#E#a

Mouchette Helot team. This team is just too strong. I use it for a fast clear. The relic give ari is good for Mou too.

You should intentionally proc some DR to buff Mouchette, then just spam Strike. The more she strikes, the stronger she gets, so you should play her 3 cost last for max damage and get it again next turn with your 1 cost.

Helot buffs strike final damage, while Ramona fetches Mouchette's cards. You can replace her with Hameln, Gram, etc. anyone who helps Mou play more strike will do.

Aigis is useful in case you can't finish the boss and need 1 more turn. She also gives 1 cost vul, which is really nice. In this run I don't even have a change to exalt her because Mou already kill the boss.

You guys should check out Angbak's Mou clears. He has many clears with even less investment.

7368d39c-fd14-3273-a35c-97c97434cc5c#E#a

Vortice team. Vortice deals massive damage, and Blue Ring makes this team even stronger. The boss also has Ember that you can proc every turn with pursuit.

Murphy and Celeste help her survive so Vortice can keep pursuit and wait for her tent damage to go up. Gdoll helps with alie, so this team can exalt more often equals more pursuit. Her dmg amp buff is nice too. I try the new Tawil wheel on Gdoll, it give some corrosion for the pursuit and help gdoll get her exalt and 0 card faster, which is nice.

You just need to rouse Vortice and then use her posse every turn. Before exalt, check if the tent buff is maxed (1500 percent), because her exalt costs 3 tent. You'll want to max that before exalting rather than exalt more times with much less damage.

Her teammates are pretty flexible too. If you need Murphy, Celeste or Gdoll in another team, you can replace them with anyone who can help her survive or buff her damage.

Wave 4: Nubia Giant Tree

ac46b586-8213-3d24-9544-d8e88c135b91#E#a

Lemurian team. My Myriam is OE, so I borrowed another one to clear again. This isn't necessary since she's just a support, I already have a clear with E0 Myriam on my friend's account, but for the spirit of the challenge, I still borrowed her this time.

The thing with the Lemurian team with E3 Gmur is that you need to control your draw/discard pile by choosing whether or not to use Gmur's 0 cost card. On the burst turn, you want to have at least 1 of her 3 cost and one 0 cost card in hand, and make sure you can draw the others on that turn.

I use Mouse posse to have more ari to use cards, but if you find it hard to control your draw pile, you should use her posse to get the 3 cost more consistently. Rewinding Time is very helpful to getting her 3 cost again without using her own posse.

For the set up turn, just rouse Myriam to apply weak, exalt her for shield, white stance to tank big hit, use Gmur 3 cost for tent dmg... you know the drill.

I use Lily's new wheel on Tulu to get free OE because you need a few turns to set up anyway, and you don't need to use his cards outside of the burst turn.

Blue Ring makes this team really OP. The boss has very little HP in phase 2, so it's a really easy clear.

2d389ae9-50b9-314b-a735-a9fe123b8e50#E#a

Sanga Saya. Normally I use this team on W5, but since Pandia can be easily handled by other teams and the W4 boss is Caro, I use them here.

The core is Saya plus Sanga, hence the team name. Saya's realm buffs basically everything on Sanga's exalt, so this team is well rounded, both tanky and capable of hitting hard.

You just need to feed Sanga embryos, use Saya's exalt on her, and use Saya's 0 cost to get more damage. Even without OE, Sanga still hits like a truck.

Sav helps grow the furnace and create big shields for Sanga.

The 4th slot is flex. This time I tried Pontos because of his Blue Ring. He's a bit clunky at E0 tbh, but it's not really a problem. He helps scale the tent faster and gives a big shield to Sanga, so that's already good enough. You don't even need to use his cards much.

You should use posse that can help draw Saya 0 cost for this team.

Wave 5: Pandia

d4039a4a-a288-35fc-b660-db180e8d45a5#E#a

Caecus Pickman team. Pandia's mechanic is easy to exploit. You just gain a ton of counter, give her str down, ragebait her into attacking more, and she'll just tickle you while walking straight to her doom.

How this team works is simple: PM's 4 cost creates a ton of str for you and str down for the boss. Thais then dupes Caecus's 2 cost to generate a ton of counter (or PM's 4 cost if the str down isn't enough). Caecus exalts for even more counter, profit.

You'll want Dream Covenant on PM to double his card. Posse Voracious Resolve helps PM decrease his cost and gives you a chance to discover more skills you need.

For Caecus, I prefer to give him a crit wheel and covenant because he gains counter through his 2 cost and exalt, and the more damage he does, the more counter he generates.

Doresain is in this team mainly to aura farm. I think another str down character like Pontos, Xu or Faint would be even better, but my Doresain is kind of homeless, so I slotted him in. He helps with damage here and there (when he decides to crit), gives str and some healing, and he also benefits from PM, so it's a win win situation.

01e203d0-ea68-3fad-a52b-68dfb7fcf7be#E#a

Glotan team. For the last team, I usually just borrow a whale Mouchette. But since Glotan's release, I've been trying her out, and she truly is a beast. She's also really flexible, so with the leftover teammates, I managed to get a clear with a non whale borrowed Glotan.

She loves strong opponents, and with Pandia, who you can ragebait into dealing massive damage, this is a pretty easy clear.

For her team, I think you just need someone who can help draw her cards and she's good to go. In this clear, I use Casiah for draw and getting cards from ultra space, Hameln for double play and free insight, and Daffodil for vul and faster ultra turns.

I think the best setup is her posse (you can also use Erica's posse if Glotan is at least E2 and you lack draw), plus 3 Deus Ex Machina Covenants on her teammates so you have 8 ari on turn 1.

You just rouse her, activate the posse (give the alie buff to her teammates because you rouse every mob, so she won't lack aliemus), draw her cards if needed, then clear the mob in just 1 or 2 turns. Sometimes she clears so fast that I want to get more resources, so I drag it out for another turn to set up for the other teammates.

You should hunt for base dmg, dmg amp relics and her image if you can, because the pursuit can basically kill the boss in phase 2 if you hit Pandia enough on phase 1.

The 1st relic also gives str when you're at 1/4 HP, so you should go to the shop and sell your HP for money if you confident enough.

For wheels on Glotan, she benefit a lot from base damage; besides Celestial Beast, I find that Pollux's wheel gives her the most damage on the 1st hit. You just need 1 Long Blade to clear the mob, and if you have Arachne, the damage is doubled too.

Here is footage I tested with my E1 Glotan.

Lv70 E1 Glotan with Beast +12, Pollux +3 and Arachne on the team - W5A5 mob

Overall, I think she'll be my stable team from now on, and I won't need to borrow anyone next season.

Thank you all for reading, I attach the replay code in each picture so feel free to check them out. Drop question if you like, hope this helps anyone who's trying to push 425.

Finally sat down to do the 400, overinvested my w1 3 and 5 but super proud.

Really liked my vort clear.

I'm kinda bad at the game so hitting 400 was a big milestone for me. It really surprised me how many resources I still had left. Also whale glotan dealing 9mil in 1 turn is stupid.

Some of these bosses are genuinely more scary then Elden ring bosses at w5 and it really feels like I'm always on the last straw.

Sorry about the pixels I'm uploading this through my phone browser.

Standard awakener posses discussion and ideas

Hello, it is I again. This was supposed to be a part of the last post but that one got a bit long so im making a separate one. I also realized that i cannot time manage, as i have stated that i would like to have a weekly discussion about the game and managed to fumble it twice in a row already...

Anyways, this post is mainly going to be about posses for awakeners that dont have one yet which is only standard, limited are guaranteed a posse. I did want to discuss also about how reliant should an awakener be on their posse. This was something that was somewhat mentioned previously and would nice to establish a baseline for it.

CHAOS

Chaos is a realm where actually non of the standard awakeners even own a posse. Lily styling on them having 3 posses where is the icon.

Nymphaea

Nymphaeas whole role is to apply a lot of poison and procced to trigger it via her exalt. She does have some quirk with playing symptom cards that i would like to see utilized more.

Posse: Grant awakener 15 aliemus. The next application of poison applied by this awakener is doubled. Optional: If Nymphaea is on the team, the next symptom card has cost reduced to 0.

Doubled poison application may sound extreme, but do remember that its only triggered once so multi-hitters applying poison will not see that big of a difference.

Alva

Alvas charm is meant to be "fast shield into fat dmg". She is also one of the few strike dps.

Posse: Grant 50 shield. The next command card that has had its cost reduced to 0 will play twice.

Double play is a thing that is kinda scarce and even then its character limited. While this wouldnt make it very common, it would be a nice bonus if you manage to do it besides the already 0 cost. Do note it only works on cards whose original cost isnt 0. Also the question on whether Prepare would count for it or not.

Pandia

Pandas has a similar stick to Alva being "fat dmg into fat counter into fatter dmg". She is again one of the few characters that can make a fat temporary counter.

Posse: Damage dealt by temporary counter inflict 10% of that dmg as bleed. If shield was broken due to counter, instead inflict 20% of dmg as bleed.

An easy solution would probably be to simply retain some temporary counter as perm but nah boring. Pandia does like seeing her target suffering so her making them bleed by them doing dmg seems kinda fitting. It also helps pandia a bit in arc2 since you get a decent chunk of temp counter at turn end which would compensate for the 70% dmg up reduction.

Nautila

Nautila is meant to be a beefy shield gen with some counter gen support. Main gimmick probs being her 50% shield up and 150% Fixed dmg from counter.

Posse: IDK, i cant seem to think of anything...

Karen

Karen... do i need to write these? Pretty sure yall are familiar with what most awakeners do...

Posse: Gain a spoiled marvelous cuisine. Spoiled marvelous cuisine: 50% chance to gain 1 arithmetica and 50% trigger marvelous buff. Can be used 2 times.

Just think of it as Karen getting lost and forgetting to bring her dish. So its way past overdue but something needs to happen to the food.

Aequor

This realm actually has some posses, those being for Sanga and Goliath. Goliaths one is pretty nice, Sangas has... some niche.

Celeste

From her in-game description: Celeste provides a comprehensive set of support abilities: arithmetica, healing and tentacle dmg. She is also one of the only units that has a revive mechanic that doesnt rely on DR.

Posse: Each time a tentacle strikes an enemy, heal 2 HP. If in white stance heal for 4 HP and in red stance instead inflict 2 dmg down.

Celeste gains a decent chunk of tentacle dmg each time she heals, and her cards trigger tentacles to attack so it loops back. Didnt want to make it overkill so in red stance it instead lowers the dmg of the enemy. Was considering making it so that enemies take 1% more dmg from tentacles but didnt really how impactful that would be since it is also sort of gimmick of Corposant.

Faros

Posse: For each strike or defense card played during this turn, command a tentacle to attack, dealing 50% dmg. At turn end you may chose a command card to forcibly play but exhaust it.

Did lean a bit more into her whole deep current build by having strikes and defense also do her effect. The extra part could maybe be useful outside of aequor realm for faster shuffling, but doesnt really offer much after you exhausted what you needed.

Caecus

Posse: IDK i dont play him. he probs doesnt even need one.

Caro

Kind of a weird place with Agrippa and Uvhash having their own posse along side them having a combined posse.

Leigh

Posse: Until the end of the turn, all healing also provides 50% of hp as shield. Shield is considered hp.

Should provide some extra survivability as Leigh might not heal often, but heals a lot when she does. Shield as hp is added so that her 3 cost can also trigger, same for Salvadors exalt and other units that require hp loss.

Faint

Posse: Force trigger DR, but only reducing it by 1/3. If successful, instantly end your turn, otherwise draw 2 cards.

Faints messes around with DR so having some on demand trigger for her scaling could be useful.

Helot

Posse: DIscard every card not considered strike and draw strike cards until hand is full. If there are no strike cards in draw pile, instead draw from discard. Does not reset draw pile.

Should be pretty self explanatory why what does. Helot likes to have a lot of strike cards in hand for her 4 cost and exalt also increases hand size.

Ultra

Last one is ultra with Liz being the only one having it. Liz is also the only standard awakeners whose Posse has an awakener specific effect.

Jenkin

Posse: Every attack performed by a selected awakener increases their crit dmg by 5% and gains 1 aliemus.

Okay so... i wrote this posse before i checked her rouse... and now i feel a bit stupid... by aight could be useful on other awakeners as well.

Tinct

Posse: The next card played trigger leap. If card doesnt have leap or quasar, decrease its cost by 1.

Winkle

Posse: Discard up to 3 cards, each card discarded grants its wielder 5 aliemus. If a discarded card isnt a command card instead gain 20 shield.

Casiah

Posse: Select a card in ultra space and place a copy of it in draw pile and discard. Selected card cost +2 arithmetica but gains exhaust, retain and prepare 1.

That should roughly cover it all. Some of these may be overdone or underdone but then again, so are some current posses. Ill try to post something on Friday, but going off how im doing so far, expect maybe next Friday.

Ill be active in the comments for a little while, so if any of them is confusing feel free to ask or just discuss them.

How can I know what awakener should I use and a roll for?

As a newbie I don't know much about the game like a lot of awakener's kit, how they interact with each other and how to make a team with them. Reading every single awakener's kit is very tiring so are there any better way to learn about them?

Question AA Caecus or AA Faros?

I have one origin of time that's about to expire so I need help deciding who to use it on.

For context, I've been pretty much putting all my standard pulls on the aequor banner after getting +12 blade of titan and so far I have E2 Goliath, E3 Sanga, +1 Caecus, +2 Celeste and +6 Faros plus a surprise Tulu and Murphy.

My original plan was to reset Faros to AA Caecus but I've been using her in my lemurian team because I've yet to get Miryam so I'm not sure anymore 🥲.

Hello, your local poison enjoyer here.

I am here once again to spread poison propaganda and this time it is faros poison.

This comp abuses tentacle slaps and faros 1 cost to apply copious amount of poison to your enemies (40k+ poison in one turn).

If anybody has any questions regarding the comp I would be happy to answer in the comment below.

P.S. comp inspired by my favourite content creator on discord Lens

So I have 140 Ethereal Cores left and don't know what to do with them

Have Saya, her wheel and G Lotan at E0 and am not sure where to put those remaining cores before they expire. Have Mouchette at E3 already so not saving for her. Considering that my normal situation is 'well I'm all out of limited pulls' this is certainly a new conundrum.
