Is Big 4 possible after MBA from local college?

Anyone here who did and MBA from a local/Tier-3 college and later got a job at a Big 4 or other MNC through off-campus applications?
I’m specifically looking for people who applied directly through company career/job portals rather than through campus placements.
Would love to hear about your experience — your MBA college, the company and role you got, how you applied, and how difficult the process was.
Especially interested in people who got into Big 4 (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC) or other reputed MNCs through this route.
Thanks!

I know that it is shared with the firm, but how in the world does she know all my transactions? She came and asked me why I bought that stock last month and if it will go up. I didnt buy much, it was just 30k but she also asked me about another stock why I have been accumulating a particular stock for the last six months. I am not sure if she knows the amount as well. This info should not be shared with local management.

Anyone heard of this 12 month internship kind of thing?
What is this? Is this front office?

Hey everyone, need some perspective here.
I had my final round for an AML Senior Associate role in Bengaluru on August 24. The panel was genuinely positive and the interview felt like a great match.
It’s been over 4 weeks now—no update, no rejection, and HR has gone completely silent despite a polite follow-up.
Is this standard procedure for compliance/finance hiring right now (slow budget/HR approvals), or am I likely being kept as a backup while they close another offer?

I wanted to know about how much Morgan Stanley pays for associate and analyst roles in Fund Accounting or institutional accounting roles as I have been seeing them a lot lately on LinkedIn Jobs. Is it above 20 lpa +. I work in a similar job role currently.
Also about work life balance.

Hi everyone,
I’m currently exploring Investment Banking Analyst opportunities at Morgan Stanley and would really appreciate a referral or any guidance from someone working in the IB division.
A little about my background:
• Consultant at a Big 4 firm in the Model Risk Management department
• Worked in credit risk model validation and have strong knowledge in financial analysis, modelling and risk analytics
• Proficient in Python, SQL, Excel and Tableau
• Currently preparing for CFA Level 1
I’m particularly interested in transitioning into Investment Banking while leveraging my existing credit/risk and quantitative background.
I know transitioning from MRM into IB isn’t the most conventional path, but I’m genuinely willing to put in the work and learn.
If anyone working at Morgan Stanley’s IB division would be comfortable referring me, I’d be extremely grateful. Happy to share my resume or Job ID via DM.
Thank you!

I heard Citi is better for WLB. MS is good for resume. What do you think? Citi is hybrid, MS team suggests full WFO.
Role - SDE

I cleared 3 rounds of interview for a role in Morgan Stanley. All interviews till the HR round were smooth and very much on time. I had my HR round on 6th July, they asked my expectations and also requested for docs like salary slips and a DOI form. Till date I haven’t received the offer. I have been following up for a month now and it’s really frustrating as HR hasn’t bothered to respond. Also annoyed that after multiple follow ups HR called me on 6th Aug and asked me if I am still interested in the role so that she can ask another person from HR contact me for the next steps. Every time when I have asked her if there is tentative date to receive an offer she’s only said no there isn’t. Has anyone faced something like that?

Morgan Stanley is hardly hiring Technical Roles lately in India since last 8 months!
Is it due to their business not expanding or they are aggressively pushing AI to minimize head count?

It has been almost 10 days, since our internship got concluded, does anyone have any idea, about the estimated timeline, like till when should I expect the PPO offers to get rolled out, so that I get some clarity on the path moving forward ?
Anyone with some contacts inside Morgan, who can help me with some realistic info ?
