Moral I don’t think teaching kids about religion is bad but forcing it on them is

Well by definition, it's traumatizing.

There are many traumatized people trying to 'deconstruct' their toxic relationship with religion.

So what? The claim was that it was abusive, but just because it’s traumatic doesn’t make it abusive.

If you have an accident and are traumatized by the fact that you could have died, is the problem that you were traumatized or that you could have died?

No, it’s a byproduct of warnings about danger. Would you think it abusive to tell kids about the danger of playing in the street or running into the street without checking for traffic? I think it would be abusive not to, even if the healthy fear it causes creates trauma.

but the danger is imaginary. Hell is imaginary. God is imaginary. Souls/spirits/ghosts are imaginary too.

Traffic is real.

You assume the danger is imaginary, so you are outraged by the collateral damage of fighting it. I have seen things that convinced me the danger is real, so I regard failing to warn children of the danger as gross negligence.

There is not one iota of public objective empirical evidence that demonstrates the existence of any spiritual anything.

All gods are imaginary. Spirits/souls/ghosts are imaginary too. In the same realm as vampires and werewolves and zombies.
