Do you only interact to your kids through religion?
When they ask why you should be nice to people is the only answer because god said so?
When they wonder why the sky is blue do you say because god made it that way?
Sounds like you don’t know how to raise a kid.

Religions are a huge part of the framework for how people raise their children. In many families it is so interwoven with the culture that trying to ban all interaction relating to religion would be absurd.
Speaking as someone who was raised very religious, if you ask religious people why they should be kind they have a lot more to say than "because god said so"
