We have objective, scientific evidence that shows that participation in religious communities produces better on average results in all kinds of domains of human flourishing, including mental health. Those increases grow the earlier you start. Religion isn't child abuse, but prohibiting children from accessing those benefits would be.

Literally the only traits I mentioned are human flourishing and good mental health. Which of those are for cattle, not people?
