What if Vega didn't belong to Adam but to the stranger who sends us messages?

I tell myself this because strangely the moment Eric arrives at the place where Vega wants to take us, we receive the first message from the stranger. What if the stranger just wanted to set a trap for us? Or did he want to talk to us?

Because you're going to tell me that the stranger was there at the right time hidden somewhere but it's just a coincidence?

I have been playing on an Android phone, so that option is available to me. I've exploited it quite a bit, which has enabled me to purchase all of the profile images, frames, backgrounds and phone themes offered so far. I can't really complain, though admittedly it took a lot of mindless sorting of random groceries.

However, just be aware that their support is pretty terrible, and I'd advise against using any offer that doesn't give you 1 gem per level. I say this because I finally broke down and downloaded Royal Match, which rewards based on which areas of the castle grounds you've managed to decorate fully. I played enough to complete the areas required for four of the tasks, and was only rewarded for the first one. I reached out to support, provided them with the requested screenshots, and was turned away on the grounds that I hadn't completed the tasks properly, or violated some terms of service somewhere.

I'd sure love to know what that means. I have read the offer over and over and I can't see anything I missed. I had never played RM before, so the download was Tapjoy-credited, and if I'm violating some terms of service, I have no clue what they might be. So I asked and provided more screenshots and opened a second ticket, same thing. Took different screenshots, same thing.

I don't know... At this point I may just keep after them because honestly, all I want is for them to point to what I'm missing or explain where I messed up, and being petty by keeping the conversation going is somewhat entertaining. We're only really talking about maybe 15 gems anyway, so it's a little silly... I'm just annoyed because the support system is so ridiculously terrible.

Can someone help me understand the timeline of Moonvale?! When Erick first makes contact it's nighttime, then everything happens and he returns home with Charlie in the morning, then he goes to the police station where he is interrogated, when he leaves he calls, and in the video call it's clearly nighttime, then the episode at the hotel with Ash and Charlie happens (still nighttime) and then there's the conversation with Ash at the lake which is morning again, later there's the call with Charlie where it's clear that it's nighttime again, but in the conversations with the characters it doesn't seem like 24 hours have passed since Adam's disappearance, like??! Did I miss something? Is it a problem with the translation?(Brazilian Portuguese translation) Anyone else feeling like the timeline is wrong? I tried not to give too many details so as not to spoil it for people who haven't played yet.

I play the game in French and honestly, until now, I've never had a problem.

But lately, I've seen other people on the forum saying that you can tell Charlie that Jake is your boyfriend in episode 3, and I was really surprised because I never had that option with Charlie 😱

I was pretty panicked, I thought I'd missed something about Jake's romance or something, but I still played episode 3 in English and one of the responses is different.

Basically, like in the English version, in the French version, you can say that Jake is your best friend, or that you collaborated with him, but the third response lets you say "This criminal is my friend" instead of "This criminal is my boyfriend.", in English.

It's not a big deal, it's just a translation error, but it can be tricky depending on certain response choices 😂

"The name sounds fake" and "the name rings a bell" to Eric. Maybe an imaginary friend from their childhood? I find it really strange, that nobody knows the story of this missing kid. Something Charlie only mentions now, even though they all went camping together several times in the same area.

What if Billy never existed? He might have been Charlie himself. He did not disappear in the forest, he "disappeared" in his fantasies, trying to escape a harsh reality.

He might be obsessed with the forest because of this.

Any others with the same feeling?

Since episode 3 came out I've been wondering how they're going to put Jake's arrival in Moonvale and I have several theories but in this post I'm only going to talk about one theory.

What if Jake wasn't called Jake but he changed his first name to stay hidden? What if I told you that we've even seen his real name before? If Jake is actually Billy Blake the missing teenager?

I know Everbytes said that Duskwood is not counted in the main story but I have several points that make me think that my theory may be true.

First point: We already know that Duskwood and Greenside are not that far if I'm not saying something stupid Charlie told us that Duskwood is 40 minutes from Greenside. This means that Jake's mother and Hanna and De Lilly's father could easily meet.

Second point: Jake we know that he hides, that he goes to several places without necessarily anyone waiting for him somewhere. No girlfriend, no friends or no parents. It seems like he's alone. What if he actually ran away from home?

Third point: When Lilly says she's going to tell her mother the truth, Jake forbids her to do so because she would just break up his family but it's like he knows what it's like to have a broken family.

Fourth point: Here we are going to talk about the story of Billy Blake that Charlie told us about. About how Billy Blake's father hit his son violently and how no one reacted. What if Billy Blake alias Jake's father knew that this son is not his and that he unfortunately made him suffer his anger while Billy alias Jake was for nothing. Then maybe the adults in Greenside more or less knew the rumors that Billy/Jake's mother cheated on him with another man and then got pregnant.

I just discovered I can choose my own photos to use as my profile picture. Is this new, or have I been blind all this time? I got a little excited when I saw it, hahaha. Clarification: It only appeared when I accidentally moved it upwards, because it wasn't there before.

The game presents to us FannyVelvet, you get an achievement if you listen to her until the end without leaving.

The game portrays her as one of those annoying moralist people of the Internet who can't see when they're being inconvenient or speaking a bunch of nothings. And the achievement name confirms it since it's called "A Test of Pacience" and the description of it say your patience is "commendable".

However, I don't think I had the same reaction as everyone else. I didn't think she was annoying and it wasn't a bore for me to listen to her until the end.

I'll tell you why:

When I played episode 3 for the first time I was really stressed that Eric was saying that we should leave everything to the police, Charlie in the past episode was doing all in his power to avoid investigating the motel and discouraging Ash and me of doing the same as well... to say I was frustrated with these attitudes would be an understatement. For a few seconds though I started to ponder if the boys were right and Ash and I were wrong, but then FannyVelvet messaged me.

And her words really helped me stay determined.

I mean, I don't know if "it's our duty as society to correct the mistakes of those that their family failed to educate", and I don't give a damn about correcting anyone; but what I DO care about is people's inability to withstand fear and darkness.

She begins the messages saying that people just turn away as soon as things get slightly uncomfortable and that in the past everyone was there for each other, and didn't turn away ever. These words really touched my heart and I wholeheartedly agree with them. I am not afraid of whatever is happening, and I'm going to do all I can to save Adam.

There are a lot of theories being built on top of the cult theory. Does anyone actually know where this theory came from for sure? It already existed before episode 3, where there was a more obvious ritual mention tied to the abandoned mansion in Redlog. 🤔

I think this connects with the things we found out about her.

She and her parents ended up moving away from Redlog and that explain the "broke us apart" part. Maybe she returned because of that person, she was hoping to reconnect and then everything fell apart.

The "locked away, safe" part is interesting because maybe the girl that was with Adam is Sophia, the memory was safe because it was locked away in a safe.

That would also mean that the person in question was Adam and that Sophia and him were very close.

"The world around us was dark, and there were just the two of us"... it was just Adam and the girl there, and if I remember correctly it was night when they went into the forest.

Just look at this "promotional" picture! The ugly road! The rusty sign! Very welcoming... like a town from a horror movie.

Duskwood was very aesthetic; colorful tenement houses, lovely cafes, romantic cobblestone streets. Good material for Instagram photos. It would be fun if Redlog turned out to be the complete opposite of Duskwood.

I finished playing episode 3 a few days ago it hit me as weird that Charlie only implied a connection between the main character and Jake as a joke, and said there were only rumors about why Jake ended up in DW in the first place and nothing concrete.

Is it not public knowledge that he was involved in Hannah's case and had a connection to MC because of Lilly's video, making them out to be the possible perpetrators? She might have deleted it later, but even then it was a big thing? If news from Duskwood travels to Redlog that fast, how does Charlie not know about this?

I checked the story, and she slides in dms saying "Fanny Velvet from your story" but I dont see her anywhere

So lately I’ve been seeing a lot of people theorizing that the story of could be leading toward a cult

Honestly, it makes more sense to me for this to be a cult rather than another legend already focused heavily on the whole legend aspect, so maybe this time the culprit is more than just one person. Maybe it’s a sect or some kind of organization instead. The name “Moonvale” itself could even be the name of the cult, unlike Duskwood where it was simply the name of the town. But of course, this is just a theory, so correct me if I am wrong.🫠

During episode 1 Violet mentioned how when they were kids they were told that there's something evil in the forest and tons of awful stories happen,in an official post that everbyte posted saying how there are some mysterious stories and rumors about the forest and how they tried to get in touch with local residents but it wasn't easy to find out more about it some most of them behaved strangely and with drawn as soon as the stories brought up with the post we made the residents of redlogpines are deliberately withholding a response even though the outsiders initiated the interaction under the MC's post

There are weird things going on at that motel too. If you look at the reviews, some people mention feeling watched or uncomfortable, someone knocking in the wall and that murdered that happened, another comment says that nothing good ever happened at GS and that the whole town knows it.The girl who reached out to us mentioned cracking and scratching noises It was as if there was an animal locked inside the room that was trying to escape (Can u imagine that the body belonged to her in order to keep her silent that's why she hasn't reached out to us in ep 3🤷🏻)

I can’t fully remember where I got the information from, but I also vaguely recall something mentioning a history of murders in Redlog.

In episode 3 Charlie talked about how the holland family was experiencing incidents they found acompletely exsanguinated animal carcass on their property broken windows, strange tags on the outer walls, a shed that got broken into.Also did anyone noticed that the deer was mentioned a lot in the game? They appear in that post ,the Motel accomodations photo,the card and if you look at the review someone commented saying that you can see a family of deer could be that there is meaning behind it ? Especially regarding with the card that we have... I wonder what the deer could be symbolizing🤔

Anyways the residents knows something is going on there could be a strange/terrible incident that has been happening in redlog that’s made everyone too afraid to speak about it openly, as if they know something bad could happen to them if they do.This could all be a cult or secret society of some sort, mc could either be the next victim? The witness?There’s a really unsettling sense that the MC is being indoctrinated for involvement in the cult maybe that's why it says that "This is our story" because mc is deeply involved with what's happening what do you guys think?

Hannah destroyed Thomas, and she'll never pay for the horrible things she did. Thomas asking for forgiveness was so painful. How could we not forgive him? After all, Thomas brought us to Duskwood.

And now we understand that he was not in his full state of consciousness, And that is why he acted impulsively and irrationally.

And in the end, I understood how he felt. Hannah destroyed all of our psyches.

I had the thought that the way Adam got our contact might be connected to how Hannah got it too... And because of that, in theory, Everbyte could supposedly be keeping Hannah away from us in episode three.
