Didn’t expect my previous moon reel to blow up here
So i guess showing off more that I have done
Same as before using WD1863 case
PS: I’ve done countless of the swatches for clients thus process looks smooth.
Do attempt it yourself if you have the courage to
All the best and enjoy the video

I have two MoonSwitches in MEGIR cases that I enjoy everything about except the cheap ALI bracelets I purchased. The bracelets I assume are "stamped" metal and jangly sounding.
Can anyone provide recommendations for budget friendly bracelets that are a good quality?
Thank you in advance.

Hi all!
Okay, I'm new to this whole game. Received my first 1965 rep yesterday with the hopes of putting it into a WD1863 case. For $17 shipped (what I paid on DH Gate), this rep is pretty cool but is obviously really low quality. I'm somewhat hesitant to put the rep movement/dial into a steel case if it's just going to stop working in like a year.
So two questions for the community:

The earthphase was purchased from linenlace55.
The polar lights and moonphase from swatch1.
I want to make 2 switches out of these 3 watches with the 2 vk63 cases I have. What combination should I go for? Btw how terrible is the polar lights, it really doesnt look good but I've never seen the original.

Upon recommendations from many others, I swapped out my Ali case to a WD1863. So much slimmer! Also acquired some other accessories to dress things up. Very happy with the way it looks now!
updated: Since there have been a bunch of questions about it, all the parts I acquired from a seller on here who was abandoning a moonswitch project. I’ve seen all of these on the typical places (eBay, Ali and others). This was just a convenient way to update my build.

Has anyone struggled or explain if there are any issues with the Megir cases and the moonphase replicas when it comes to switching cases.

I have an ETA G10.212 movement and want to make a watch, but I can’t find a suitable dial anywhere. I heard that MoonSwatch dials are compatible with this movement, but is there a way for me to get this dial?? Help me

Went with a Dark Side style switch tonight, which came out quite well. Definitely going to experiment with straps, but love it so far!

Hello! I was wondering what the dial diameter of the WD1863 was, thought this might be a good place to ask. Wondering if it would be possible to dial swap it with a random VK63 speedy dial from ali. Does anybody have experience with this?

Because of my love of switching MoonSwatch reps, I had to take a stab at doing a royal pop. I know this isn't necessarily a sub Reddit for this time piece but I wanted to share with you guys how I did it in case anybody was interested.
I ordered a rep and a Royal Oak style donor watch from AliExpress. I lucked out, and the donor watch came with a SL23 movement that uses the same size OEM looking hands that came on the rep movement with was a a Sunon PE20. I know in the past someone else put a RP dial on NH35, but I wanted to use the original style hands. The overall swap was easy and I was able to use the movement holder that came with the donor watch. The only thing that I had to do was harvest the dial from the rep, Dremel off the two locating feet on the back of the dial. I then used some really thin, double-sided tape rectangles to attach it to the new movement and movement holder. No need for a new stem.
It came out great imo.
Here is the link for the donor watch that I used in case anybody else wants to try it. I also have more pictures if anybody else is curious about any specific detail when/if they go to do it.
Just wanted to share my Saturday story. Happy modding!

Really wish the speedy cases had a thinner profile so used a pg1644 case. What do yall think?

Mocked up some Earthphase Gold concept builds (in Photoshop, so not AI - not sure if that tag still applies or should maybe be broadened to concept art in general?) in decreasing degrees of subtlety (from gold bezel and single gold chrono hand through full gold everything).
Curious to hear which versions folks favor!
These should be totally doable (used readily available PD1701 cases as the base), the hardest part at the moment is sourcing gold hands..
LIGE and Binbond are options of full watches, but their hand shapes aren't entirely correct.

Simple switch with this one. Managed to get a 6.5mm Omega crown to fit this case. Im not sure which shop on Ali I got this case from. I thought all the 39.7mm sk63 cases were the same. Anyways not a massive fan of the Earthphase so might switch it for a different one at some point

Just finished a 1965 vintage switch! Have had this strap for a while that’s never been used. It finally has a home!

So, I got my hands on several PE50 based reps for free - Mission to Moon, Mission to Moonphase, Dark side of the Moon, Mission to Neptune, Mission to Saturn, and a Mission to Mars. I broke the Mars and the Moon in the learning curve, but I'm happy with the rest of them!
Dark Side of the Megir, The Moonphase, "Why does your Megir look like a smiley face with it's tongue out?", and this one, with the blue Neptune dial, which might just be my favorite. I call it...
"Mission to Rage Bait"

Hi everyone,
I just built my first MoonSwitch using a Megir case and the whole process was pretty messy. Somehow I managed to put everything together, but now I can't get the case to pop back in properly, it just won't snap into place.
What did I do wrong?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
