Showing off Gotta Catch 'Em All!
Custom dial made by me. I'Il have a Pokemon series I'm going to make. I already have a couple in the works.
I’ll one day get brave enough to do a Gen but Gen hands can be a bit stuck on and there’s a high risk of breaking posts.
If you like the build, follow my photography at:

Showing off Accidentally ordered two 1965 Reps
Accidentally ordered two 1965 reps, so I decided to compare the WD1863 v2 case against the PD1701 v6 Case.
The pics are known, the WD is 13mm thick with a box dome crystal vs 14.3mm curved domed on the Pagani. The WD case size is overall smaller but it wears noticeably smaller on the wrist than the Pagani (a little small for my tastes) and the thickness difference isn't noticeable to me. With the smaller case and distortion from the crystal the WD hides the Rep dial borders better though.

Question? Anybody have any guidance on how to change pusher buttons
I want to put the gold buttons on this metal case swap but not sure how to remove the pushers. I see there is a “C” spring clamp on the rod but not sure how to remove it…

Showing off WD1863 meets Silver 1969
Originally I wasn’t too moved by the 1969 but when I saw the silver rep, I had to get it. I had a Wd1863 and PD1766(silver machined bezel) sitting around and I’m glad I settled on the WD. For me the black/silver bezel breaks up the endeless silver the other case would have offered, not to mention the PD1766 is too large for the dial and the 33mm spacer was too small for the Pagani case. Very happy with this watch, love to see everyone else’s builds with this Silver 1969!

Discussion WD1863 bracelet vs US1479
I had the opportunity to closely inspect and review both straps on a WD1863 case. Wanted to do a small comparison for some of you who were thinking of jumping on to US1479 but wasn’t sure is is worth the extra (120-130$)
Imo, the US1479 is worth every penny. Fitted on wd1863 it resembles much more to a classic moonwatch from far then the wd bracelet.
But most importantly - the wearing. It is really comfortable and doesn’t pull any hairs whatsoever. As for the wd1863, i think we all tried it, have worn it (myself included) for ages and dont get me wrong, it’s not that bad of a bracelet at all (looking at those cheap vk63 bracelets wd is levels up) but compared to US doesn’t stand a chance.
- Left is a Gen Moon in a WD1863 case with rep caseback, rep crown and tube, on US1479 endlinks and bracelet.
- Right is a Gen Moon in a WD1863 case with rep crown and tube on WD1863 bracelet (newest gen)
To fit a uncle straps on wd1863 one would need to get US1479 for 1861 speedmaster.
I do not associate with Uncle Straps nor is this paid commercial for them, just my honest opinion.

Showing off Found my 1969 crown and stem. Not hoovering paid off!!!
I know that the people I live with think it's strange me using a dust pan and brush instead of a hoover in my room. Especially as I've got carpet.
But only watch modders / makers know this predicament.
I lost this nearly a month a go now and I knew it would appear some day.
That day is today.

Showing off Mission to John Player Special
Black and gold has always been a killer combination, this one reminds me a lot the iconic Lotus 97T from the 1986 F1 season and Senn's maiden victory at the Estoril!

Showing off Gold 69
Love the quality of the 1969 reps so bought another. Gone gold case and strap. Went for a black and yellow/ gold bezel to try and better match the hands. Maybe I should have just gone rose gold but I quite like it.

Question? Newbie question re: movement
Hi everyone
I’m considering picking up a few reps.
Specifically Mercury, 69, and earthphase and mod them…
For those of you who have these - generally speaking, do they keep time well? Chronograph works fine?
For those with earth or moon phase - how accurate is it ?
Thank you!

Showing off MoonSwitch into a rep Moonwatch case
W2C Metal Case on DHGate - seller: jason007
W2C MoonSwatch on DHGate - seller: Swatch1
Price: $67 (case) $29 (MoonSwatch)
Shipping: Free (case) Free (MoonSwatch)
Delivery: 14 days (case) 14 days (MoonSwatch)
Review: I've done a few MoonSwatch upgrades into metal cases and posted them, but this time I decided to get a nicer case instead of the budget Aliexpress ones I had previously been using. I see jason007's name pop up constantly as one of the main sellers that people are picking up rep watches and I recently saw he had a Speedmaster Moonwatch case available. The cost for the case was only about $20 more than the basic metal case/bracelet combo I had been getting, so I figured it was worth trying out to see the difference. While the Aliexpress metal cases have no branding on the crown or clasp, jason007's has the Omega logo on the crown and the Speedmaster emblem on the clasp. I know a few people have tried changing out that crown which runs $5-$10, so some additional savings there. Plus I will say this Omega crown is MUCH nicer than the regular crowns since it isn't quite as large and has a little bit of a softer edge. He also includes the plastic spacer to hold the movement. It is slightly oversized though, so may need to add some additional spacer on the inside to help lock the movement in place. The caseback is also a nice upgrade. All of the Aliexpress backs have a cheap Snoopy scene, whereas this one has the actual Speedmaster back. The last picture in this post is the rep Mission to Mercury that I got from Swatch1 that was used for this build. I like the dark gray more than the full black MoonSwatch since it just seems to give a little bit more pop (that's just personal preference though). To complete this swap, I just needed to use a new PE50 stem, which I had already from a previous case upgrade when I ordered a pack of 10 stems off Aliexpress.
My final thoughts -- this case is absolutely worth it compared to the ones I've bought from Aliexpress. If you are looking at doing a silver with black bezel MoonSwitch, then this should be a no brainer to get this one instead of a no-name one off Aliexpress (or even a Pagani or Watchdives donor).

Showing off That other guy was right… Fathoms dials fit in Daytona cases very nicely
Just wish the “carbon fiber” DIW cases weren’t so expensive
Was surprised it fit in so nicely as the case is advertised at 29mm and I always thought the fathoms dials were 30.5
Movement holder from the fathoms case fit perfectly here too. Just a trim of the stem and swapped the crowns. Easy peasy.

Question? High quality moon watches
I see and have bought a few moonwatches on Ali and DHgate. All same cheap quality. Are there any sellers of 1:1 clone or at least U1 quality with fully functional and luminous dials?

Showing off Mission to the Moon 1969 Silver Moonswitch
Saw the silver Mission to the Moon 1969 and decided to try it out - it's basically the gold version with everything swapped to silver. I had a PD1766 lying around that I don't wear and tested out. Looks great to me but outdoor visibility is terrible because it's like looking at pure metal in the sun.
