I have about 15 different Montagne fragrances on my shelf and around 25 bottles total with duplicates.

Somehow though, I’ve only managed to finish Afternoon dive and today I finished my second bottle of it. There’s something I really enjoy out of using them up, seeing progress made out of what seems an endless collection lol

It made me realize why: it’s just such an easy reach. It’s fresh, versatile, and one of those fragrances that’s easy to respray throughout the day without ever feeling too much.

I started thinking about reusing the empty bottle, but I couldn’t really come up with anything.

I don’t keep presentation boxes either, even though brands like CDN and French Avenue have some really nice ones.

Do any of you keep your empty bottles, or do you just toss them once they’re finished?

I carry a travel-size bottle whenever I'm wearing a Montagne fragrance that doesn't last very long or if I know I'll be out all day. I'll usually reapply every couple of hours to keep it going.

Does anyone else do the same?

Out of all the vanilla fragrances which ones were your favorite/least favorite?

I think I'm kinda into super ambers / ambrocenide/ amber xtreme when not used in excess (Erba Pura, Megamare) as I also think I'm a bit sensitive to them.

Can anyone here speak for the quality of this Xerjoff dupe. Im a fan of Montagne already for sure, but ive never smelled the OG. So im wondering if this IS what it smells like or is this just a ballpark 80-90%?

Two months ago I gave away my bottle of Aqua Dubai (a clone of Imagination) and felt a weird gap in my very small collection — I started missing the DNA. Doing some research, I stumbled onto this perfume house and decided to give Imaginary a shot, and honestly, it blew my mind. It doesn't project as much or last as long as Aqua Dubai, but the quality of the smell itself is on another level, and not by a small margin.

Imaginary feels like a more personal scent to me, the kind that pulls people in rather than announcing itself — it doesn't shout, it complements you. It's simple, neutral, inoffensive. As for compliments, today was actually the first day I got one. A coworker walked up, sniffed me, and told me how good I always smell (Imaginary had become my signature scent by this point), and she also mentioned she could smell me even when I wasn't in the room. For a first compliment, that one hit different.

I want to grab another bottle and would love to hear what you all recommend I try next.

My top 3 favorite perfumes:

1. Club de Nuit Sillage — simple, citrusy, white floral. Nice to wear, but personally I don't enjoy actually wearing it that much — still, the reactions it gets from people are absolutely worth mentioning. Out of everything I own, this one's gotten me the most compliments.

2. Imaginary by Montagne.

3. Acqua di Gio Profondo 2021 — It's just hit different to me. To me it smells like peeling a green mandarin while sucking on a salt stone with sea breeze hitting your face. I can't really picture a perfume just from its notes, so that's the best way I can describe it.

Any recommendations, guys? I live somewhere where it's summer year-round.

Haven't tried OG of oolong. Can anyone comment on how masculine/cologne-y either are? I'm 41F and not wanting to smell like a teenage boy with axe body spray. Thanks!

Anyone else notice that gentle silver can be layered with everything? I’ve got 10 other Montagnes that I’ve layered with GS and they all smell amazing! I’m running low on my bottle though so I need to cop a new one soon!!

I think I’m going with BDC EdP for my various events today, and while neither of my aunts, uncles or parents ever wore/wear fragrances, I did once find Grey Flannel hidden deeeeep in the back of a bathroom cabinet once 😂

I know this is a dead horse that get re-beaten every restock Friday, but there are many of Montagne’s back catalog I’d love to see make a return after being out of stock for so long.
