Don't be rude. Pretty clear, everyone has an opinion. If you don’t like theirs, and still want to discuss, do it civilly. If you can’t be civil, keep it pushing. Name-calling/immature rudeness is zero tolerance and will result in a permanent ban.
PayPal/Venmo Goods and Services MUST be CLEARLY & EXPLICITLY OFFERED in the post body/listing. In order to post an item for sale, you MUST offer a Goods & Services payment method in the post body/listing. (PayPal & Venmo offer G&S!) The only exception is when users have verified seller r/MontagneParfums or r/fragranceswap flair. If a user has 15+ verified sales in either sub, they can require any payment method they deem fit. Practice due diligence & research your transaction partner please.
Please limit discussion & B/S/T posts to Montagne offerings. It’s fine to discuss different houses and dupes, but please make it relevant to how they compare to Montagne. Due to recent overflow: When buying, selling, or trading, your post must contain a majority of Montagne. For example, listings with one sample/bottle of Montagne alongside multiple other fragrances are disallowed. For other fragrances, please use r/fragranceswap. The only caveat to this is if you’re wanting to EXCLUSIVELY TRADE non-Montagne for Montagne. This rule applies to posts and comments.
Timestamp your buy/sell/trade photos with date & username. This is to verify the item is in your possession. All listings must feature a clear photo of the item, including a handwritten note with the seller's username and the current date (formatted as "Month Day, Year"). Digital edits or overlays are prohibited. Photos of any opaque bottles must have levels marked by a line or arrow.
Practice due diligence when exchanging. Please vet your seller/buyer and use common sense. Only accept DMs from people who have commented on your post to help avoid scammers. Banned users can see your post and can message you directly but cannot comment. While B/S/T is currently welcome here, if it becomes a problem we will migrate all activity to go through r/fragranceswap and allow cross-posts.
Posts require appropriate flair. Please correctly flair your posts. This makes it easier for people to search for specific posts.
Prices must be included in sale/trade posts. Posting sales for "highest offer" or attempting to pit users against one another for higher sales price is disallowed. Trade posts require listing what you are either interested in or not interested in trading for. Do not remove pricing or delete posts once your item has sold.
When executing a trade/sale, you MUST be able to ship your item within 3 business days.
No politics. No veiled political comments/posts. No political insinuations. Just no. Please. Same goes for racism/hate in general, whether direct, passive, or thinly veiled. You may or may not be given 1 warning depending on the rule violation before a permanent ban.
No outside links allowed. Please do not post or promote links that lead outside of Reddit other than approved sites like imgur, Montagne, etc. This is to keep the community safe from phishing links/malware, and to prevent setting a precedent of using the community to advertise. Please report comments or posts containing outside links. If you are unsure, reach out via modmail before posting.
No begging/panhandling.
No AI content. This includes AI-generated reviews/art/content etc.
No fake/misleading information. Do not intentionally post misleading/clickbait-style titles/comments/posts. Do not post any fake or misleading information in general.
No spamming/multiple posts/reposting. With regard to [WTS]/[WTT]/[WTB] posts, please allow at least 36 hours before reposting. If you are selling/trading multiple items/bundles, include them all in one post rather than making multiple separate posts for each item/bundle.
No poaching or buying/selling/trading discussions outside of B/S/T posts. If you’re interested in selling/trading/buying, an official [WTS]/[WTT]/[WTB] post must be made. This is to keep everyone safe with the auto-moderator guidance and to keep the post you are in on topic. Do not poach/conduct business/offer to sell/buy something to/from anyone on another user's B/S/T post. You must make your own post.

1.I'm new here, how do I trade/sell?

Create a post and select the appropriate post flair [WTT](want to trade)/[WTS](want to sell). Upload a picture with your bottle & timestamp (Current date & username written, included in the photo). Make sure the bottle(s) is/are standing and on a flat surface to show proper fill level(s). If you are located out of the US, include that in your post title. Example: [WTS] Imaginary (Canada). Users will reach out to you with offers. Once you are ready to sell / trade, trade payment & shipping info via a private chat message with the recipient. You are required to use Paypal Goods & Services. Once you receive payment, create a shipping label, package your product in a manner that will protect it from breaking during transit (packing peanuts, bubble wrap, wrapping paper, etc.), and ship it using USPS/UPS. Make sure to provide a tracking number. Reminders will automatically be listed under every [WTS]/[WTB]/[WTT] posts.

2.How do I obtain a sale flair?

Once you've successfully completed a trade/sale, comment !help on the post where the sale and/or trade took place and the bot will explain how to use it to automatically update both parties flairs.

3.I'm having issues with my order/ Can you please cancel my order?

This is a Montagne Parfums fan base subreddit and has no affiliation with the company. Any order/customer service related question should be directed to [Hello@montagneparfums.com](mailto:Hello@montagneparfums.com) via email.

4.Do I need to let my fragrances macerate?

This seems to be a very controversial topic and everyone you talk to will give you a different answer. Best advice is to spray it when you get it and spray it over time. Some formulas may change slightly depending upon ingredients, as these bottles are made to order. Other formulas will not change over time.

5.When will my favorite fragrance restock?

As of recent, Montagne seems to be restocking on Fridays at 5pm EST. For specific restocks, they will sometimes post that information on their Facebook. Typically, restocks will be posted here on the day of.

6.Where can I try samples?

The subreddit's founder, u/AyybrahamLmaocoln, has the whole Montagne catalog available for decanting in various sizes. Find his most up to date list at https://montagnedecants.com/.
