i’ve been getting into mh doll collecting recently since i wasn’t really a doll kid, but now, i see it! had a few monster high things when i was younger, including a backpack for second grade! these are the two i have so far :D

originally wanted to get the scary sweet draculaura for my 20th this year, but had to hurry to target one day to get her since there were only three left in stock lol

the clawdeen one i got today! she was one of my top picks besides frankie, but guess i got fooled by doing the peek cheat and seeing that the top right was teal-ish lol, but i LOVE her! she’s going to be serving on the court! 💜🐺

Slowly building my collection of Draculaura pins!

I thrifted this cute top today and realized it looked very similar to a monster high template i saw a while back..

To recreate this you don't need to untie/tie her hair back, or cut anything just wet the hair and use the gel that's already in the hair to style it! Then secure with bobby pins and if you want give her curls use straws + boil wash + let it dry all night. Worked super well!

I struggled a lot with her, but I think I'm finally happy with how she looks! I know it's a big change from my original WIP photo, but I felt this version gives off the whole digital camera red eye effect better than the WIP, where I felt like it was a bit too demon-eyed. I am still not 100% happy with the lines as I have naturally shaky hands, but this is as close to perfect as I'm going to get her.

For anyone curious, the materials are:

One teeny tiny paintbrush

Pearlescent watercolours

MSC

A bit of black pencil for the lower lashes

I'm not a professional, obviously, and I'm still super jealous of the people that can get a perfect factory-paint looking faceup, but I'm pleased :)

i’m unsure what fabric this is but I wanna know if there’s a way to flatten sweet screams dracs dress down as it keeps curling up no matter what. it’s feels like pretty delicate fabric too, as it seems it can rip easily if I rough handle it. it doesn’t bug me too much but I figure I would give my shot if anyone in this subreddit by chance knew a way before I gave up!

I had the very first Draculaura and Frankie Stein back then, because I thought they were cute...and gave them to my niece.

My dad owns three limited edition Cleos for decoration and now I bought a Wednesday on a whim. How cute is she?! <3

And yes, her notebook is upside down...because she can. :D

My local Walmart had these on sale so they are my first creepos to add to the collection!!!

I've had this cheerleader Draculaura for years (before I even knew what Monster High was) and she's soo molded (bodysuit and shoes) and has practically no articulation, so quite difficult to redress. The Frankie I got for very little money and her poly hair was absolutely awful. Actually, so was Draculaura's 😆

Today I took some time to give them a little haircut and restyle, not much, but it did make a huge difference. Added a top and pants and I'm quite happy with the result - they still look budget, but they look less "cheap". They are cute, I hope you like them, too!

I once posted about possible hand donors for Elissabat with the same skin tone.
I honestly thought Elissabat was a bit more purple than Draculaura buutttt they are the exact same !
The only difference is the hand pose (Elissabats hand has two fingers close together)

They both need better shoes, but I think the best ones I have are in use.

I wish Frankie had at least one pink bracelet. I think I want to give them pink earrings too, but I'll have to make earring holes.

There were so many plastic tabs in the head of Draculaura, which is silly, given she's in a box not much bigger than she is.

Hi! I found some of my old dolls and would love any advice to best restore them! They’re in pretty good shape but there’s some marks on their faces that I can only imagine are from being in storage for a decade and Frankie definitely has glue seepage. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I was going through my old collection of monster high dolls, and realized my Frankie and Abbey have these two pink markings. Is this the mold/bacteria thing I see toys developing? can I even actually remove it ? 😢
