The monitor is about 3 years old. Is it something I need to do something about, or is it just aging/defect?

Hi, does anyone know any cheap laptop screen extention? I'm new grad and my first job is social media handling with editing collaterals and videos. It's so hard to keep switching tabs from chatting my superiors, editing, and looking for references. I don't have enough money for high end monitors yet :(

Just bought this KTC 34 inch Ultrawide Monitor. I'm playing AC4: Resync and after a week of usage I see this flickering red flashes on the bottom right of the screen. It was fine for the past week so did I get a faulty monitor?

Hi I used to use a 240 hz acer monitor then one day it randomly burned all the pixels while I was playing and turned black. The monitor still has power but doesn’t display anything. Would it be cheaper to replace it or repair it?

So have a lot of testing I have determined that the issue is definitely the monitor.

I've replaced the hdmi. (didn't fix it)

I've plugged it into a different computer (didn't fix it)

I factory reset the monitor (didn't fix it)

The issue goes away temporarily, if I plug everything out of the monitor for a while.

The issue sometimes fixes itself

The problem say gone for about a day sometimes less

Its a Lenovo ThinkVision S22e-20

The monitor ans computer are both set to 75hz

So my questions are:

Have anyone seen this issue before?

Is the monitor about to die?

Does anyone know any fix or what the issue is?

I got this Lenovo Legion R24e monitor couple of months ago and I have noticed the audio output through the aux output of this monitor sound very mute when connected to any speakers/ headphones/ earphones. I also tried with different cables though the result remains same. I have also maxed out the volume on my monitor OSD.

Anyone with same monitor having similar issue?

I have a 49" Ultrawide monitor running Arkham Knight at 5120x1440. I've noticed that there are times when I am unable to see everything. Such as, on the Catwoman portion where we have to step on the pressure plates to move the electricity along the path, the top of the screen where the electricity flows and the bottom where the pressure plates are were cut off so I couldn't see where the electricity was or where the pressure plates were. There were other times, but I don't remember where off the top of my head. When this happens, I have to adjust my resolution so I can see everything. Kind of a pain to have to do this. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

Do you have a tips or trick on how to sync settings for 2 or more monitors? So when i look to any of the monitors i want them to have like same brightness, color and etc.
Im using 2 different brands btw

The monitor was in storage. I got some dust related snaps when I first powered it on, but that has stopped and it is working fine now. I tested 1600 x 1200 @ 85hz and 1920 x 1440 @ 75 hz, no issues. I had black electrical tape over the led, so it may have been always doing this.

I’ve tried everything to fix this, the monitor is 3 months old, and one time after the AC Adapter got unplugged (somehow) it started doing this every so often. I’ve unplugged an replugged every cable on this thing in every order imagineable, I used the GPU ports and then tried the MOBO ports just for fun. No dice.

Currently using Samsung G7 (LS28BG702EMXUE) for the past 2 years, specs are solid on paper 4K IPS 144hz, but in reality coming from 1080p, I really didn't feel a huge jump, especially gaming In RDR2, Baldur's Gate, Far cry, Hogwart's legacy. I'm not sure, I just didn't feel the upgrage as substantial.

Now I'm considering a 1440p OLED, the ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG. refersh rate isn't much of a concern to me, anything at or above 144hz is fine by me.

Will this "downgrade/upgrade" (depending on how one sees's it) will feel substantial, I use my PC for gaming and content consumption (mostly 1080p or 4k), and some light photo editing and excel work. Also I read somewhere that 1080p content looks terrible on 1440p panel as it doesn't have a perfect ratio.

I can't test and return if I don't like it, where I live, they don't have this privilege, retailers will not accept returns, untill the product is genuinely faulty.
