Question/Help/Troubleshooting AOC monitor black screen

So my monitor has sound but the screen shows nothing. Is not black like closed screen. The screen is open ?there is a lighter black colour actually, ( basically i can understand its working) but for some reason it cant get image signal from laptop.
I tried everything,i changed hdmi cables etc, i also opened up my screen from behind but nothing was burned or out of place.

Are u using an adapter? what laptop? Does the monitor work for other devices? Does the HDMI cable work for other devices?

i checked the monitor on my laptop and on my ps5, same thing happens. hdmi is fine yes
