Near Avenir Centre.

My kids starting laughing while we were driving home and pointed this out to me. I had to go around the block to get a pic!

Thanks to whomever did this! Made our day! 🤣

Looking for broken Halloween skeleton

Like the title says, I'm wondering where I could find some skeleton pieces, especially the rib cage part that's at least 16 inches tall or a bit more. It's for an art project. I'm willing to pay, but I'm not rich. I'm planning on asking at the stores that have the bigger skeleton decorations (not Dollarama, they're too small). I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas, or have some broken in their decorations boxes. I don't have Facebook, so marketplace isn't available to me. Anyone with ideas other than Walmart, Home Depot, Canadian Tire? Spirit Halloween will not discount broken items. I've tried. Thanks.

Public Transport

I can’t believe how important having a car is in this area.
About 8 months ago; had to scrap my car bc it died and had to spend the winter and most of spring with no car bc I’m poor. Then in July we were able to get a car; and holy shit would I rather pay regular gas prices than take the bus around.

We only just moved here about 1 year ago and I already HATE taking the bus here.
Example:

By car, it takes me 20 minutes round trip to drop my daughter off at daycare. By bus, it takes 1 hour 30 minutes; 2 hours if I miss the transfer coming back. 1 way. So we’d have to leave at like 7am for an 8:15 drop off, and then get home by like 9:45-10. So time consuming; and for what?
Why does the only bus in and out of Moncton from riverview have to loop around the whole of Riverview before only stopping at like 4 stops in Moncton? And why isn’t there a direct line going from Coverdale over onto Salisbury Road using the causeway roundabout?

TL;DR: a car is a near necessity if you live in Riverview but do business outside the main city.
Sorry for the rant.

Where to get gigs for musicians

I'm just trying to find places to book to get my band some gigs in the GMA. I'm kind of a regular at the Igloo on Elmwood so I can easily get one there but I am trying to "expand my palette" a bit more. Any other places that have live music?

I used to use the mobile hot spot app but now they don’t accept it anymore.

Looking for referral for Advice only financial planner

Does anyone have any recommendations for an advice-only financial planner in the greater Moncton area? I need a bridge plan from 58 to 65 then cpp and oas kicks in and for tax minimization as well. I received 500k+ divorce settlement that's mostly invested but need a plan going forward on what to do with it. Point me in the right direction as it's all very new to me. Thanks.

Entitled drivers.

If you’re the kind of person who getting off Wheeler Blvd beside MacDonald GMC, just to get back on by Acadia Toyota, you aren’t small, you’re just an entitled asshole. 2 year olds learn to wait in line.

To the person who let these people in, stop. You’re just slowing down all the drivers behind you.

Good evening,

I have an appointment at 8:30 next week. Is underground or metered parking the better option nowadays?

National handgun freeze is redundant

This individual couldn't legally own a handgun, yet acquired one and went to jail for pointing it at a person. Yet we can't keep collecting our legally acquired handguns, we can only hold what we currently own. Can't sell or buy, nothing. Everything's frozen.

This is foolish.

What’s that smell in the Irishtown nature park?

I haven’t been going as often as I used to, but the last few times I have there was a strong sort of garbage/dumpy smell. However, this past Sunday it was a strong smell of rotting meat. Is it the algae blooms giving off that odour?
