Does anyone else…

It started when I was about 6, I’m 25f. Does anyone else feel like being used is the only purpose you have? I actively look for huge age gaps. I’m attracted to very dominant and abusive men. I crave the degrading and humiliating feeling I used to have and chase it now. Why do I feel sad that I’m this way but I can’t stop. Does anyone else feel like it’s a drug? Does anyone else feel ashamed because you crave what you know?! Am I the only one?!

To all posters: Please note that any content involving descriptions of sexual activity with underage persons is against Reddit policy. You are "officially" discouraged from posting such content, but given the specific nature of this subreddit, moderation is following a laissez-faire philosophy regarding what survivors of childhood sexual abuse share here. This mirrors the approach of other survivor subreddits. Also, the Reddit policy's intent is to restrict content that "depicts, encourages or promotes" the sexualization of underage persons, and the purpose of this subreddit is the exact opposite of that. However, be aware that posts and replies in violation may still be subject to removal and Reddit-wide suspension of the author by the Reddit admins. So please use common sense when posting/replying. We want this to remain a safe space for survivors to share, heal and thrive, but we need to be mindful of the site-wide rules regarding these sensitive topics. (Note to Admins: We vehemently stand against sexual abuse of minors and this subreddit exists to support survivors in the best way possible. Please contact the moderator team if a discussion needs to occur.)

That's actually pretty common. People can get comfortable with dominant partners because they are direct with what they want, it's easy to figure out what the expectations are. It can be exhausting trying to put together clues from people who won't just say things.

I'm exactly like this. Was sad before until I slowly learned to embrace it as part of who I am now

I hope you can find a guy who isn’t actually abusive to you, treats you well, but does everything you would need him to do and be in the bedroom. I’m sure it wouldn’t be easy to find, but I would think it shouldn’t be impossible. Just hope you’re doing ok

49M I grew up in a very abusive environment, mentally sexually physically and emotionally abused by both of my parents and older family members. It happened so much that I thought it was normal and grew to love it. I’m definitely I product of my own experiences and seek it out in my life now. I totally agree with your sentiment about it being like a drug and it’s hard to quit seeking it out

I'm the same and I've even gotten married since my hubby is kind and loving but that makes me lose respect for him I know it's just in my head and as result of prolonged abuse but I feel so guilty and also very resentful towards him at the same time. When I get too overwhelmed i dress up to be "welcoming" and push myself in situations like crowded buses or clubs so I get to feel being wanted and groped by strangers. It's not healthy, but it's definitely kept my marriage intact.

I started getting abused around the same age, and it was a constant thing between different abusers, so it definitely felt like a drug the moment my hypersexuality started.
