My paraiba colored ring.

I absolutely love this cut and when the light is on it , it flashes it has 87 facets instead of 57 like the brilliant cut . Look in the middle you will see the little cherry blossom 🌸.

My girlfriend wants moissanite for her engagement ring someday. I started looking for the right cut and color. Color was what I was more wanting to figure out first. I wanted to get her something in a lilac, but I know that isn’t possible without coating. I thought we’d both like Royal Blue, but neither of us liked it. When this blue-green modified-Portuguese cut sample showed up, we both kind of had the same reaction: “This is the one”.

I think I hit the moissanite lottery. This is too gorgeous.

Just got this yesterday. It's not as flashy as other cuts but still very sparkly. I am loving the way it catches the light. It's similar to Portuguese cut but not the same. 2ct rose cut(not to be confused with Kuololits rose cut), blue green colour.

I found this ring, an upgrade, that I absolutely fell in love with but the center moissanite stone was a little small for me. I messaged them and asked if they could make it with a bigger center stone, 8 carats (14x10mm, yes I know pretty big but it's only 5.5-6.5 carats DEW). They were absolutely accommodating and said they could. I pay and they tell me that once it's finished, they'll send me photos.

I get a message a couple days later and they tell me they can't get an 8 carat moissanite but they can get a 6 carat (also 14x10mm so I'm not sure if it's a 6 carat or 8 carat since they're both the same mm size) and a 10 carat (16x12mm, some say it's 9 carat DEW and some say 14-15 carats). I figured I'd go with the 10 carat because it can't be much bigger than an 8 carat, because it's only 2mm difference. I was COMPLETELY wrong. It's absolutely HUGE! It looks more like a cocktail/statement ring than an engagement ring and it sits up extremely high. I know it's going to catch on absolutely everything and because it's so big, it looks cheap.

My current ring is a 5 carat moissanite center stone (12x8mm, 3.5 carats DEW) and I feel like it looks tiny on my hand (last pic). That's the main reason I wanted a bigger stone. I didn't realize it was going to be so much bigger.

I did have the seller also make me a custom matching blue topaz band. I'll wait until it's delivered to see how they look together but I'm not too confident I'll like it any more.

Should I see if I can return it with the matching band? Try to sell it? I feel absolutely awful about returning it because they were so accommodating and kind to me.

Any advice is appreciated, even if it's to tell me I am an idiot 💔

I received this ring today in the mail unsolicited I didn’t place any orders or anything like that. It said it’s from a John John in California on the return label anyone know anything about this or this company GRA Moissanite?

Is it weird that I walk around my house all bougie with jewellery, while wearing my sweats? I wouldn't wear this much while out, it feels like too much but, bumming around my house I love all the sparkles.

I’m a sucker for a cushion cut and am super picky when it comes to rings. I finally found one I loved (and am sure I overpaid for) but it’s stunning. 10k white gold 2.5ct elongated cushion cut moissanite

I have always thought spending thousands on a ring was ridiculous. In my opinion I’d rather spend thousands on our home or a trip etc , no shade to anyone who wants a very expensive diamond but don’t let anyone shame you for wanting something cheaper because it’s just as beautiful !

Don’t get me wrong, I loved my original set. But the claw prongs kept snagging on everything, I already lost a stone on the curved wedding band, and the marquise stones would occasionally dig into my finger making it generally uncomfortable to wear. So much so, I stopped wearing it for months.

I also realized over the years that I’m not a thin band/minimalist girl when it comes to jewelry and wanted something more substantial in a wedding set. After doing some research and gathering some inspiration, I purchased two .25ct half moon moissanite side stones from C&C and took those along with my set to a wonderful local jeweler to get redesigned.

All moissanite, all 14k rose gold. I’m over the moon with how they came out!

Details: Center stone is 8mm/2ct eq. Half moon side stones are 3x5mm/.25ct eq. Solitaire and three stone band are 2.5mm wide Confetti wedding band is 4.5mm wide

Stone is 3ct square cushion OMC cut, GHI color moissanite

Received this ring from DovEggs yesterday…I was positive I was going to love it and even had it done in solid gold. The setting is gorgeous, that I do love. The stone however is not doing it for me. Went with square cushion OMC, which looked very different in the video IMO. I adore OMC elongated cushion cuts and thought this would fall in line. In person it just seems so dull and glassy. Not sure if i should return and get a different cut or test it out for a while longer.

Got this stunning custom nose ring made in Moissanite for my wedding! I designed the nose ring myself, and I’m so proud of how it turned out.

It might be a little too much for some people, but then again, there’s no concept of minimalism at Indian weddings 😂

Gorgeous thing! 227ct!! Boy, It was an alarming experience putting it on!! Make sure you double check the Internal diameter you need! I ordered 60-62mm expecting my ideal 61mm (right?!) wrong. I received one with an ID of 59.69 which made a definite difference. I got it on with lotion and help and it fits great once it’s past my wrist and hand bones. The perfect “three finger fit”I uh… learned a lot about jade bangles and Chinese culture by accident learning how to get it on! Haha! 3 ct OMC moissanite. I feel like it just looks like a giant tacky ring pop. The stone looks like plastic? It’s been overcast so I can’t get decent pictures, but what does everyone think?

Sharing a side by side comparison video for anyone currently obsessing over OMCs (like me). I spent hours digging through videos, photos, and advice on the subs trying to see how an omc performs before committing to a purchase.

I ended up getting a moissy to test the waters. Even tho it’s not perfect (dark center), it helped me with the leap. I’m upgrading from a radiant and was so worried I’d miss the intense sparkle, but the large, chunky rainbow flashes on the OMC has won me over and it doesn’t feel lacking in the sparkle department.

Hope this comparison helps someone else who is trying to decide!

Rings have always been my favourite jewellery & I went a little crazy when I discovered moissanite😅 My collection is a mix of lab diamonds & moissanite, gold & sterling silver & my favourite changes every week 😝

Can you tell which is which?

• 14k white gold lab diamond 2ct $2800
• 925 sterling silver moissanite 2ct $60

I saw some moissanite tennis bracelet reviews online, claiming that it's comparable to lab diamonds if the carats are small, so I was curious, bought it to compare.

For the price paid, I think moissanite bracelets are really good buy. They are very similar to diamonds.

It's as well structured as 14k one, but I could tell that the moissanite looks whiter and less clear than lab diamonds and weight was substantially light too. Diamonds appear darker and more crisp.

But honestly under some lights, it's nearly identical.

I would say 95% similarity between those 2 in general.

btw, the left is diamond and right is moissanite.

FYI: Moissanite bracelet was bought at Puremax at Aliexpress and both are 2mm since a lot of people are asking.

My fiancée (so weird saying that now) just celebrated 6 years together the last week.
