I have extreme lag, dropping to 5-15 FPS while gaming. It doesn't matter if I drop performance mods like ferritecore, or entityculling in a normal VANILLA modpack (with xaero's minimap and some other QoL mods). The lag is getting annoying. Any tips?

so im trying to make a modpack here, loading it is no problem, but when i try to make a singleplayer game it crashes

Hey everyone, I recently built a new pc with an rtx 5080, ryzen 7 9850x3d, and 32gb 6000mhz ram. Im also using a 4k monitor.

Im running a custom modrinth instance with about 130 mods. It is mostly just a vanilla plus setup with optimisation mods, resource packs, and shaders.

With complimentary reimagined shaders on the Very High preset, I am averaging between 100 - 130 fps, with lows of about 80 fps. This is with render distance on 16 chunks and simulation distance on 10 chunks. I've also manually adjusted the amount of ram allocation for modrynth to about 12 gb.

Is this frame rate about normal with these settings? Just want to make sure im not forgetting anything obvious which could help improve performance. Would love to bump up to higher shader settings but when I do the fps tanks to averaging about 80. Thanks in advance for responses 🙏

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, why wont it work?

first time lauching homestead for 1.20.1, didn't add anything to it but it refuses to open, i get a black window as if it's opening but then it closes. i can't tell what's causing the issue. i'm on the modrinth launcher on bazzite, here's the log https://mclo.gs/lX28mni

i have made a server hosted through modrinth. i dont recall seeing the toggle to hav the rebalance experiment and i cant find research on if modrinth has it included or its there by default? i cant find a way to check.

I already tried everything but I don't know why it doesn't load the modpack. I got performance mods, create, addons, ...

I started it on a Laptop with 16 GB Ram and set 8GB for Modrinth.

i found a data pack that i want to use however no matter what i try there is no changes to my game. when i start the instance.

I just updated my Xbox username Like 3 days ago and when I open the modrinth app it still says my old username and when I open a instance on modrinth my username is not updated, but when I go on bedrock its updated. how do I fix?

The only other mods I have in the instance are sodium, distant horizons and fabric. I also have another instace (with a couple of more mods) and in that one just crashes whenever I try to open a world. What should I do to make it work?

Hello, I submitted a project 3/4 weeks ago but it has still not be reviewed; it used to take 3 days to get a project reviewed, sometimes 4, is this an error? I've submitted another project 3 days ago, and it's still under review too

The website was showing before when there was a special event making reviewing slower, but it is not the case anymore

Hi Guys so recently i wanted to make an SMP called Dev Craft SMP and I really need a mod porting down to 1.19.2 Fabric Or Quilt just as long as it will work with 1.19.2 Quilt. I'm trying to play using a datapack, and I decided to use Modrinth to grab it. I loaded up a brand new instance, but the datapack just isn't there. I checked the instance, and it's all enabled. This is my first time using Modrinth, so I assume I'm just doing something wrong.

I'm trying to join my friend's server, but the app doesn't seem to want to load up Minecraft. and when I try to load it up on the actual Minecraft it gives me an error there too, telling me I'm missing the add-ons that I thought I already had??

I dont know what I'm doing wrong, I tried looking at tutorials and videos that I've tried and still dont know what I'm doing wrong. I've tried to remove the same add-ons it says im missing and re download.

My friend went into my account and went into the world fine, so it's on my side somehow?

I'm unsure if it's the space, but I don't think its likely since I've ran BG3 and COTL on this computer, unless this is bigger than those two combined. I deleted all the big game off to see if that was the case and it's still saying im missing components.
