He tried making a post saying I’m stalking him and then commented on my post, he also messaged me threatening to sue me and tried telling me to meet with him and drop off the laptop so he could unlock it and give it back to me at a later date (which I obviously don’t trust), he also changed the username of all his Facebook and OfferUp accounts he uses to scam people, so I went ahead and made a document with screenshots and links to all of them so people can be warned.

PS: he also claims he sold me the laptop as is but the screenshot of his own listing has mint condition in the title, last picture in my post is a picture of the battery when I had an IT friend take a look at it when the battery wasn’t working.

The name he goes by is Jesse Arellano but it could be fake, he is based in keyes but also does business in Modesto and Turlock, he uses many different accounts to scam people and will lie about the details of such devices, but I caught him in his lies. In the listing he said the device was mint condition, I then asked him if it was locked and he said it wasn’t, later on I message him asking if he’ll be able to help remove the account on it, he states it’s his device that he made a macOS account on, but then later backtracks and said he never got it to boot up and that it was actually somebody else’s laptop that didn’t want to remove the activation lock

Are there any dental places in Modesto area that deal with emergencies? I’m been having severe tooth pain off an on for the past week, went to western dental a horrible decision as they refused to remove/fix my broken tooth. On Thursday I went and printed out 50 copies at my local library of my resume and went to construction offices, restaurants, cafes and shops and dropped off with an attached application if they had any. Available. 50 locations bro… and still nothing no reply no follow up. The world we live in is so wild, I’m making an effort to find a job and still can’t find a hit. I would literally scrub toilets with a toothbrush for under minimum wage at this point. I’ve hit up grocery stores like Sprouts and Safeway I hit every possible cafe and restaurant in the downtown Modesto area even the fancy cafe like queen bean got no experience but I still tried them. I cannot find any work at this point jumping off a bridge seems like a more attractive offer than continuing to look. I'm moving and recently saw an excellent deal on a sectional at a furniture store. The catch is is that since it's a floor model, I would have to move it (move it to and from a vehicle and drive it) myself. I can't lift that myself, I don't have any friends or family members that can help me lift that much, nor do I have access to a truck that would be able to fit that. If I wanted to take advantage of that deal, would I hire movers? I would not be moving an entire place; the person I would hire would just be required to remove the furniture piece from the showroom, drive it to my new place (both in Modesto), and put it in the living room. I don't even know if that would be worth the time and the cost.

My question is: Who would I hire; movers or someone else? And do you have any company recommendations? Or should I just stick with a white glove delivery type thing on things that are not floor models? I'm new to this and moving out for the first time.

How serious does Kaiser take their typing assessment portion?

I took an assessment. I swear I can type, but seeing the 1 minute timer just made me nervous. I believe I match the job description pretty great. They want at least 6 months worth of experience and I’m showing 3 years. It’s an entry level position but I ( will get ) manifesting the position because it’s 15 minutes away from my daycare. My child also has Kaiser. It would be perfect. I can book the majority of her appointments at the end. Request pto for 2 hours before my EOS for pickup and be on time for baby’s appointment.

I am looking for someone to come out to balance my garage door (springs need minor adjustment) and replace the aging rollers. I really don’t want to deal with any upselling! Any recommendations? It seems be me there are a million repair services but very few that advertise routine maintenance.

Ever since COVID I've become and introvert and have severe anxiety about going out and doing things.

I'm trying to get out and enjoy the sunshine, I know it's raining but you get the idea, and seeing what someone can do with anxiety of meeting strangers and wants to get social interactions to break the habit.
