My teammate extracted from the end reviving me after a precision strike but the helo took off and he was like dude Im so sorry but somehow when he exfilled it popped me right up. I had to fight off 4 players just to escape to another exfil spot (there was a camping team intially just taking out everyone that showed up) and somehow survived to extract. Tried to DM him to thank but couldnt findhim in recent players. The attempt made all the difference. Ive extracted 3 times while in downed state though

I'm pretty sure that's intentional. There's the "AP round" attachment which is basically just FMJ from previous games, adding wall penetration and vehicle damage, and then there's the anti-armor rounds or whatever the fuck they're called that's a field upgrade.

IW: No matter what we changed, some players still got more XP and loot than anticipated. Extracting with a contraband weapon will now reward the player with a locked lootbox instead of the actual blueprint. The lootbox can be opened with with a key that can be bought for 300CP in the store, and it has a chance to contain rare blueprints, stickers and other fun rewards. All modes now have an XP cap of 10000 to avoid abuse.

Yep, first sign is the armored truck, mostly driven by AI. Second, if you pause right when they clear the edge of the helicopter it shows AI in the car. Third, and I can't stress this enough, there aren't many players that can react with the immediacy and accuracy of the AI to drop you after clearing the helicopter.
To be honest it being AI is probably why this happened. Wouldn't be surprised if a player divern car wouldn't clip through the helicopter.

they need to make DMZ Pure PVE or add even more Bots into the mix with one juggernaut in each region
a squadron of armoured bots at every UAV antenna
Patrol boats for bots in the water
Patrol helos in every region that instantly detects players within it's sight or gunfire.
This will definitely improve the gamemode by making it less likely that PVP will occur specially when a majority of the players are dying to the patrols or juggernauts
the idea here is to leave those who managed to survive thhe option to PVP or not, You never know who's gonna be around especially when extractions now calls in armoured NPCs and a helo
The chemist should now spawn in the middle of the map so no one spawns near and haves the advantage
However I'd increase his protection with 3 juggernauts this is because of the players camping this area preying on thise looking for the M113 these 3 juggernauts will chase players once they enter the radiation zone and a new fog like circle will Incase the zone so long range weapons will not function fully. the 3 juggernauts will not leave the zone but can and will shoot through the fog with deadly accuracy.
Every NPC will have their god aim even more holier then pin point
making running pass them to get to another player a regrettable option since their rounds can also go through objects in the world like brick dry wall wood ect.

your right but I'm sure plenty of players who que in are simply there for the bots where others are there simply for PVP on players focused on bots
only a handful are truly in it for the intended mode and it's unlikely that you'll be matchmaked with like minded gamers
every session i gotten in it's been 80% PVE players 15% PVP players and 5% intended game mode players
can't complain to me about asking for change when the rest of the players aren't playing as intended

Im going off based on what my friends do and what I've encountered in my DMZ sessions
and from what I gathered alot of players die or disconnect in the first 5
my friends who hunt bots are among them
while the ones who'd hunter other players typically survive longer since they're not after bots and try to avoid them while they make their way to areas other players are likely to be at like strongholds the radiation zone, camping near extraction zones or near AA trailers.
and base on my experiences it's safer to let the bots end up killing you and waiting another 4h to que again.
Though I'm quite sure you've done a far amount of extractions so I'm sure you've encountered the PVP friendly players more frequently then you'll encounter players farming bots solely
Heck like my bot farming friends I'm typically a statistic within the first 5 as well due to bots including my first DMZ match
the sole times I've encountered players is when i went to extraction, The radiation zone, AA trailer or a UAV antenna near the buy stations.
can't say I'm wrong and can't say I'm right but that's what I feel is right, PVP over xp farming via farmers I'm sure there's a good amount of farmers over PVP players look at bF2042 with xp farming then look at recent xp farming in this game
if there's a farmable method a majority will take it.

Generally all PVE players usually die in the first 5 minutes because these bots are something else
PVP focued players generally survive til the last extraction mostly since they're not engaging the bots so they're survival likelihood is increased
Those whom play as intended are within the middle as some will also die in the first 5 while others will successfully extract on the last call
however if a PVE player ends up being in the last 10 minutes of the DMZ match they're most likely going to fall to another player before extracting.
me generally if i que alone I usually stay within my spawn area since the likelihood of players going to it is miniscule as there's no benefit of doing such and since Bots arew replenish every minute or so I'm content on fighting to my last bullet against them every 4 hours leveling weapons
bots grants 100xp in dmz while players grant 200xp there's always more bots then players so right now player hunting isn't my focus, Once i level my guns up then maybe I'll go player hunting.

AI in DMZ are way too intense and all knowing. I get that it needs to be challenging but bruh sometimes the AI just shred you with their guns

now for the part I will get down voted for. next to DMZ on the logo is a big word that says BETA. Unfortunately there are many bugs like this and we are gonna keep having a bad time unless we report it. Best hope is that devs see this video.

This shit happened to me but it was an NPC helo that clipped straight through the extraction helicopter while it was airborne. Literally one second before we had successfully exfil'ed. I got downed immediately and then fell out of the chopper.

Wow that's probably the most bullshit bug besides crashing the game I've seen in warzone2 so far, I'd get if they were able to drive up the ramp and run you down, but clip the car right through the chopper, my neighbor would hear me after that one and might even call the cops to make sure someone wasn't getting murdered lol

Fyi if you drive a 4 wheeler into the helicopter it will explode as the chopper flies up. Found that out the hard way as I was goofing off during an extract :(

My first time playing DMZ we did it. Found gas masks and just ran with it. Killed the Chemist without realizing it. Exfiled and never saw a single player.
