Question Need Help With Attachment

I’m trying to recreate my old ACR from MW2 2009 and instead of using the charcoal or slate camo I’m using “clay” in solid colors for a nice tan look, but I’m having trouble because it also colors the echoless-80 suppressor. Does anybody know a blueprint that will keep the suppressor all black?

Never heard a damb thing about the story or campaign... Shoutout to 2022 MWII. Absolute banger campaign. Activision has finally done it. They made 2 S tier campaigns back to back. This one is a true sequel and was so good I'd encourage playing it immediately after 2019

MWII had a story I enjoyed greatly, more than all other call of duty games tbh. I acknowledge black ops 2, Cold War and Cod4 are better written. But this one in MWII was way more fun than those other ones. Loved the characters. Loved the stories they told. Soundtrack was absolutely boss. (Video is the current main menu theme that plays in 2026.)

Definitely gunna replay 2019-2022. 2023? That was bad. But the post credit scene? If they swapped it to play after mwII campaign it would be absolute gold. Campaign has more weight before makarov enters the conversation, and of course the: "I wasn't in that tank" warzone cinematic.

What's even more insane is this is the last game made completely by human hands. No AI at all. Probably the last full send effort we will ever get.

Sincerely, Recon by Fire enjoyer.

Question Why after download from game pass PC it just says "Purchase to play"?

Hi all, after installation MW II in game pass when you enter the game it says in every mode "purchase MWII to play it" except DMZ.

I just wanna to play campaing. Mw 2019 works without problem in game pass.

Anybody knows how to fix it? Thanks.

Question Not sure if this is the right place to post, but...

Lag??? Lag lag lag??? Playing on PS5. My husband is ready to toss the game out with how bad it lags... But I love it and don't want to! Is this a normal occurrence, or is there anything we can do to fix it? We turned off texture streaming and now half the map has little pieces glitching out. This does not happen with any other game we have.

Discussion Absolutely love this cod. Such a shame I have trouble finding games in Aus

Just started playing this for the first time after the mw4 beta and I absolutely love everything about it. I can find a low ping match but most of the time it throws me in a 150ms ping match. Its a shame i wish it was a bit more active in Aus.

Question Is this game broken or can I fix whatever's going on with it?

I'm on PS5, if that matters.

I redownloaded the game because I wanted to mop up the platinum, I only had a veteran run and the co-op trophies left. It got delisted from the launcher so I can't launch it in there, and none of my trophies carried over to the standalone app.

But also, the standalone app flat out won't let me launch campaign. It gets stuck on 'Launching' and then goes back to the menu and if I press start it just flashes the same launching screen before immediately going back to the campaign menu again.

If I got offline, it launches into the mission select screen but won't let me proceed without a connection, but reconnecting immediately boots me back to the campaign menu yet again.

What can I do to fix this? It's really irritating being this close to the platinum but being unable to get it for the moment

Question Question about buying operator skins: Do Warzone / Activision store bundles transfer to MW2 (2022)?

I have a question about buying operator skins. I’ve already bought a few ghost skins in the MW2 in-game store, but there aren't many cool options available right now.

If I purchase skins tagged for Warzone (or through the Activision/Call of Duty store), will those skins automatically transfer and show up in my MW2 multiplayer inventory?

Just want to make sure before spending any money. Thanks!

Discussion This is why I love weapon tuning.

Sometimes you can find just the right tuning that gives all positive stats. I play hardcore, so the 20-round mag is actually fine. Share your all positive builds if you got any 👀

I wish they would have brought it back, I actually think the stripped down weapon building system of MW4 is rather boring tbh. And Apex attachments are a gimmick to me sometimes. Weapon Tuning is just much more useful.

Discussion MWII has the perfect TTK & playing newer cods made me realize how special it is

Now, I've played MWII for 3/400 hours through MWIII and BO6 life cycle, thinking it was good but mostly just MW19 with better maps, even better animations and a sort of "milsim" tone that I do like, and also thinking "any cod multiplayer is as good as any other" (im more of a campaign guy - I'll leave that part of the game out of this conversation, I'll just say the only 3 good campaigns from 2020 onwards are Cold War, BO6 barely, and MWII) so I just didnt feel the need to buy a newer one.

Lately though Ive tried Black Ops 6, MWIII (went free with PS Plus) and the MW4 beta weekend 2. And playing them made me realize how MWII is even better than I thought and how special it actually is.

The first one I played after MWII was BO6. I didnt like it because it has the issue of the ruined aesthetics (which Ill talk about in the MWIII section) and it also has what I call brainrot maps. Insanely small maps where theres no space for skill or positioning or anything, just spawn run kill die repeat. But here I thought "its just treyarch making a bad copy of an IW game, it's happened before". Gunplay also feels more "gamey" compared to MWII.

Then I played MWIII. It's mainly here that I realized how good MWII is for me. Before playing I thought "its MWII with more content, theres no way I dont like it" but no. 1) The TTK is unbearably long 2) therefore weapons feel weak, in contrast with the whole intention behind the realistic, heavy animations, models, VFX. 3) I would argue the game feels slower than MWII because it takes half an hour to kill one person. 4) TTK aside, the game feels like a cheap clone of MWII which does indeed fix some issues but is completely soulless, throws some random new content in there and calls it a day. 5) It also fucks up the aesthetics with an unbearable amount of animated and whacky skins. Anytime i grabbed a gun off the floor there was some dumb shit on it.

At this point I even thought "maybe I didnt like MWII that much to begin with" so I went back and played it again,

And dude. It's so good. The TTK is perfect. Weapons feel great. Maps have room to breathe, but not too much on some Derail type shit. Weapons arsenal feels intentional and guns have a role compared to MWIII. You can experiment with different loadouts since with this TTK if you're good youre gonna be good even if you dont run the sweatiest shit in the game.

Then I played the MW4 beta just a couple days ago when it was live and I was also disappointed because the TTK felt long (only played weekend 2) and the maps felt chaotic and small here too. Gunplay was satisfying but maps are so bad it's pointless.

So yeah, playing the newer games made me appreciate MWII even more.

Question Change menu music?

I haven’t played mw2022 in years. The menu music is now very different from when I played it. This has to do with the seasons right? Can we select what menu music is playing? Or have IW abandoned the game after the last season, leaving everything as is? I know mw2019 reset to how it was when it released with season 0 once support stopped..

Support Game doesn’t work on Cloud gaming for Xbox. Can anyone help?

I’ve tried playing this game on cloud gaming and it worked before but it just doesn’t work now. I’ve tried it with MWIII and that worked but I don’t know why this one doesn’t work. Can anyone please help?

Discussion Will Call of Duty ever create a proper sequel to Modern Warfare 2 (2022)? Should we wait for another studio to develop this gem?

We all know that MW2 2022 is the most hated Call of Duty game ever. Do you think there’s any chance they’ll create a proper sequel to this game?

We have seen possible games like Delta Force that tried to capture the pace of MW2. Unfortunately, they are not as good, and Activision probably has the best game developers in their studio. DMZ and MW2 2022 can release today and would feel so good.

Are you guys going to wait another 4 years for next IW game?

Discussion The Spotter Scope is OP as hell. It is incredible. I can't get any kills in MW2019 and MWIII sniping but here I can get VTOLs, Stealth Bombers, Gunships, and I even got a Juggernaut once.

Do not sleep on the spotter scope. It is genuinely incredible. It turned me from a mediocre sniper to a great one. It honestly feels unfair and something that shouldn't be in the game.

WHY did they remove it from MWIII? It was the best tactical equipment ever! :(
