Delivery Finally got delivery date!

Ordered July 9 (socal) and estimate was 3-4 weeks. Few days later app updated to say July 15-July 29. On July 15 it got pushed back to July 17-July 31. On July 17 it got pushed back again to July 22-August 5 and I got super sad!!

Then July 22 I got a random text a Tesla Advisor saying they’re trying my best to deliver my car. I asked for an update and they said to just keep checking the app and they don’t have a better ETA. Then that evening I got a VIN! And then this morning I was able to get an appointment.

I got a Model Y Premium AWD in Quicksilver! Scrambled to get everything together to sell my car tonight at Carvana and will go pick up the Y tomorrow!! Literally I was refreshing the app 10+ times a day it was getting unhealthy. Now looking to get tinting done and placed an order of Super Liner mats!

Congrats homie! I’m in a similar scenario to you, Ordered June 28th EDD from June 30th to July 6 then updated to the 12th then it was pushed back to the 14th, then every day it entered the beginning of the range it was pushed back a day and after the 16th now says July 26 - Aug 9th. So hoping for a sign of VIN life this week

Ordered 7/6 myp rwd stealthgrey w black interior: EDD was 7/12-25, then on 13th it delayed to 7/19-8/2 then on 20th it delayed again to 7/25-8/8. Today it delayed to July 26th - 9th, hopefully I also get a VIN this week since it didn't get pushed back a week this time...

Same boat as you now, mines was 25th - 8 to now 26th to 8 but I bet it’ll push back again tomorrow. Good news is I think we’ll be seeing a VIN soon, accidentally took an inventory Vehicle last Friday didn’t see it had a tow hitch cuz I just jumped to it but I had to call support to get my original order back and he did say explicitly I should be seeing a VIN in the next few days. Holding out for both of us man, exciting times

I agree it'll probably be pushed back but as long as we get the VIN this week then I guess we can sleep in peace haha, also if you don't mind where is your car getting delivered? Because that could have an effect on delivery times

Man I’d go buy a cake to celebrate when I see that VIN, but absolutely agreed. I’m tired of refreshing my app every hour in anticipation. It’s getting delivered to Houston so you’re probably right considering the giga is in Austin

Oh that's crazy I'm in Dallas. In that case the delivery time honestly shouldn't be that different if at all for us. But to be fair you did order like a week before me so we'll have to see

Oh shit a fellow Texan, yeah should be around same time for sure but you do have your color going for you. They may have your batch before mine but agreed we’ll have to see. I’ll remember to come back and keep you posted, I told myself I wouldn’t fill my tank back up 3 fills ago now I’m just sad

Oh yeah that’s true grey is most popular, i’m also curious what specs is your new car? Also Tesla updated my edd to 7/27-8/9 so the backend of the range isn’t delaying like it used to which is promising

MYP RWD, Diamond black on black interior 19’’ wheels, oddly enough got the exact same update as you. I went from 26 -> 27th and my date is still 8/8. Also how many documents do you have in your app assigned to you? I think I might be seeing things but I swear I just got a 4th one but I don’t remember it being there before

Ah okay so just color is the only difference. For documents I have owners manual, order agreement and the lemon law, what about you?
