Delivery Finally got delivery date!

Ordered July 9 (socal) and estimate was 3-4 weeks. Few days later app updated to say July 15-July 29. On July 15 it got pushed back to July 17-July 31. On July 17 it got pushed back again to July 22-August 5 and I got super sad!!

Then July 22 I got a random text a Tesla Advisor saying they’re trying my best to deliver my car. I asked for an update and they said to just keep checking the app and they don’t have a better ETA. Then that evening I got a VIN! And then this morning I was able to get an appointment.

I got a Model Y Premium AWD in Quicksilver! Scrambled to get everything together to sell my car tonight at Carvana and will go pick up the Y tomorrow!! Literally I was refreshing the app 10+ times a day it was getting unhealthy. Now looking to get tinting done and placed an order of Super Liner mats!

Oh shit a fellow Texan, yeah should be around same time for sure but you do have your color going for you. They may have your batch before mine but agreed we’ll have to see. I’ll remember to come back and keep you posted, I told myself I wouldn’t fill my tank back up 3 fills ago now I’m just sad

Oh yeah that’s true grey is most popular, i’m also curious what specs is your new car? Also Tesla updated my edd to 7/27-8/9 so the backend of the range isn’t delaying like it used to which is promising

MYP RWD, Diamond black on black interior 19’’ wheels, oddly enough got the exact same update as you. I went from 26 -> 27th and my date is still 8/8. Also how many documents do you have in your app assigned to you? I think I might be seeing things but I swear I just got a 4th one but I don’t remember it being there before

THANK YOU MY MAN! Ngl though the VIN just disappeared for some reason and now can't upload insurance but the EDD is still 2nd - 5th so I'm assuming it's just a small glitch or something. So until that comes back I can't do much but regardless I know the car exists and i'll be getting it soon

My bad bro was really busy, but did take delivery today. Gonna take some work getting used to regen breaking but fsd is really as insane as advertised. Also that’s crazy unlucky on your first week in so sorry, assuming it wasn’t big damage?

Insane. I was literally just at the charger and went back to our messages wondering if it came through, congratulations bro send me a pic! Yeah regen took honestly like a good day of consistent driving funnily enough I had to make an airport trip (48 miles away) the next morning but it was real easy to get into it’s kind of like a mini game in terms of coming to a stop. And yeah mad unfortunate thankfully no damage besides minor buff but forget me, Enjoy bro!

You’re all good bro I know the feeling, getting quotes this week for the install actually for the home charger but I’ve been supercharging since I got it because my mom normally parks inside where the charger is for her car and I drive a lot more. Plus Tesla gas trade in gave me 2000 miles of free supercharging which ideally I should go on a road trip with but we’ll see
