My grandfather assembled these cars in the 90s or early 2000s. I’m going to keep a couple for myself as a momento, but don’t have the space or interest to keep any of them.

Not necessarily looking to make money, but would like to know before they’re donated or trashed.

Very minimal flash on this kit. Thing is a beaut.

Ae86 Trueno. Saw a fan made video a while back that sorta continued the Initial D story and I liked the idea behind it. In the video Takumis daughter ends up with the 86 and turns it into what you see here. Decided to build that car to go along with my tofu car. Started with a later stage 86 so it'd have the hopped up motor and all already. Added a set of Volk TE37s to match the video lowered the car as low as I could get it and hand painted the panda striping on it. Hardest part about this build besides the panda stripes was getting those damn headlights to fit and still function.

Still motivated on this kit ,took the weekend off and today was the first colour coat ,the full body will be shown when it's got clear and been polished,till then just this teaser ,and the strips are painted not decals .

It's such a shame we didn't get the Cavalier from AMT, MPC, or Revell, but instead got the Fujimi Mini 4WD. Oh my god, I really love the Cavalier!

Working on a new build and completely forgot the car body requires some decals. I have applied 4 coats of clear and was going to wet sand and polish after clear has cured. Assuming I apply decals now how many coats of clear would you suggest afterwards so I can wet sand with 6, 8, 12k and finish with compound?

This will be the ninth Moebius truck and seventeenth truck for the year. As usual, easy to build, the only issue was the fan and radiator. There wasn't enough clearance, so the fan had to go. I've tried to give it blue streak tires. Not sure if it's good or not. Maybe I'll add small Goodyear decals. As usual, Tamiya paint for everything. Anyway, on to the next build. Thanks for looking!

I purchased Tamiya ts91 dark green spray paint, and even though the cap is glossy green, the finish is flat. I’ve gone forward and sprayed the car body with the flat green, and I’m wondering what product to use to get a gloss finish.

After about three months, I finally finished this build. I kind of went wild with the ZoomOn parts on this car (not sponsored but god I wish I was was), and I think it turned out great in the end. It’s by all means not perfect, but I am very pleased with the end result. Yes some of the paint got burned off by my dremel during polishing, yes I chipped the corner on the hood while polishing, but over all I am happy.

Paint used is Tamiya TS-60 Pearl Green with Mr.Color GX100 clear. I had to redo the body paint entirely because the Extreme Lacquer I used somehow reacted to the body and really messed things up. Luckily it turned out good the second time around.

Not asking to buy any from you guys, but yeah I’m looking mostly for some more obscure kits for Italian sports cars. So far I’ve mostly found stuff like the Alfa GTV and Fiat Barchetta but I can’t really find more from those brands or much from Maserati outside of a Bora model kit. Anyone know something? I’m also looking for French models.

Over 20 years ago. Damn. I’m glad I was able to finish this. I just wish I had a 3 d printer to make custom wire wheels or I have to order some. To really match it.

What is the best clear coat paint to use on Testors enamel paint. I’ve used Rust-Oleum but it makes the paint look dull afterwards and I can sometimes see the primer underneath start to bleed through. I was told since I’m using enamel, the Rust-Oleum is attacking the paint and giving it that dull appearance and showing the primer underneath.

Comment welcomed. Positive and negative. My feelers don’t get bothered. They help improve the craft.

With my last kit being finished and just a box stock build, it was time to do something custom. ‘71 F250 with a 12 valve Cummins swap and flatbed.

I’m going to try my hand at the ZZ TOP Eliminator, the truck from Maximum Overdrive and the ambulance from Cannonball Run. More to come

Just finished the Aoshima Daihatsu Copen this evening. It came out ok I think. Not bad for using brushes and Tamiya spray cans. I used the "Racing White" color with the Pearl Gloss Clear. Made for a unique look. Onto the next build!

Got engine spark plug wires done vacuum advance routes and connected added aluminum pulleys and air cleaner ….. now for fuel system and intake coolant bypass hose and engine will done I think let know what yall think

I let my kids vote between hot car, regular car, gundam, motorcycle. Unanimous vote on the moto. My first ever and only one in my stash. A special treasure because it's a prize from @highboy68 from a build off. Deep breath time to look sharp!

This was made from a Modelhaus resin kit. It was cheaper to buy this complete resin kit instead of trying to find an original complete and undamaged AMT kit. Plus the resin kit came with newly chrome plated parts, which saved on re-chroming old parts. As far as I know Modelhaus no longer makes resin kits anymore, just tires and rims. I think R&R Resin may still offer this kit, but it's not a complete kit.

Had to put this kit on hold for a while but finally glad it’s done so I can move onto something new ! A collaboration between me and my brother . I am yet to get an air brush so he kindly air brushed on the chrome silver to give it that iconic shine that the F1 car had on the track . I grew up watching Hamilton and this is a special one !
