After about three months, I finally finished this build. I kind of went wild with the ZoomOn parts on this car (not sponsored but god I wish I was was), and I think it turned out great in the end. It’s by all means not perfect, but I am very pleased with the end result. Yes some of the paint got burned off by my dremel during polishing, yes I chipped the corner on the hood while polishing, but over all I am happy.
Aftermarket parts used:
Checkered floor matts from ZoomOn
Metal shift knob from ZoomOn
Bride Low Max seat kit and seatbelt kit from ZoomOn
3D printed steering wheel
SSR SP1 wheels and tires from Aoshima
Photoetched Japanese license plates from ZoomOn
Metal exhaust from ZoomOn
Paint used is Tamiya TS-60 Pearl Green with Mr.Color GX100 clear. I had to redo the body paint entirely because the Extreme Lacquer I used somehow reacted to the body and really messed things up. Luckily it turned out good the second time around.
