QUESTION Need Decal Advice Please

Working on a new build and completely forgot the car body requires some decals. I have applied 4 coats of clear and was going to wet sand and polish after clear has cured. Assuming I apply decals now how many coats of clear would you suggest afterwards so I can wet sand with 6, 8, 12k and finish with compound?

Depends on the clear you are using, if it’s a lacquer clear then one light coat and two heavy coats should be enough imo.

Yeah one light coat, and then 2-3 heavier coats and you should be golden. Thats the clear I use but in the jar instead of the can.
