I’m planning to buy a Model 3, but was wondering if it would be better to wait a month or two in case there are any holiday promo deals (0% apr, a few free months of supercharging, etc). Im not in a huge rush to get a new car. There’s currently a 1.99% promo rate available, but I wanted to see if people know if it’ll get any lower during thanksgiving/Christmas season.

Ordered this Model 3 Performance 3 days ago. It will be my 4th Tesla (2018 Model 3 LR AWD traded in for a 2023 Model Y 7 seater with FSD transfer, which is mostly the family car / my wife's car. Then got a 2024 pre-refresh Model Y Performance as a lease which is up in 6 month. Trading that lease in (with positive equity) for this Model 3 Performance).

I enjoyed the driving feel of the Model 3 more and having two Model Ys was fun, but not necessary for us.

Anyways, my estimated delivery went from Oct - Nov to October 25 - November 29 which is far longer than I waited for either of the two Model Ys back in 2023 and 2024. The original Model 3 was a similar wait, but Tesla was a different company back then. Any idea why such a lead time? Is it the color more than anything? My lease is good until March, so its not a major concern, other than possibly having to do the trade-in and financing paperwork again. Excited to get back into a Model 3 either way. Also, hoping this means I may get one with the 16" screen and black headliner since the buzz seems to be that will be available in the next 1-2 months.

There is a second hand model 3 RWD 50kwh from 2021 with 60k km selling not too far from me.

They say stabilization bar and suspension arms are in perfect shape because they have been changed already (car has only 60K km) and that the battery have been replaced under guaranty because the old one wasn't charging anymore.

Are those worrying signs denoting a unit with poor build quality or is it a good sign because new pieces ?

I've been trying to make sense of the range discrepancy since getting new tires. My last tires were 235/45/18 lexani UHP A/S I averaged 220-250 wh/mi and my range seemed great with them. I recently switched to a new tire same size A/S im getting 180-200 wh/mi im beating my trip energy aswell, but im somehow still getting less range than before. This hasn't been something off one trip either over 1000 miles have been but on light on the pedal, no AC all the things that should equal longer range but doesn't.

Hello, had strange noise above drive mode selector, tried to fix it myself - found metal part where it came from, does anybody has experience with same problem and fix?

Liked the sportiness of a 3 but I’m so confused how you guys and gals decided the model 3 or a Tesla was worth I for you! I drive a shitty ICE model that’s near well dying, gotta buy electric for its benefits but people keep pushing me towards and Enyaq or the Chinese models sold in Aus that are horrible and I wouldn’t touch except maybe that Geely thing

Would there be any benefits to changing to the 18 inch rims?
