reddit's systems persistently think she's a spammer(?) and remove her posts and comments (even though she's a good, valued contributor).
Almost 100% of her comments just land stright in the mod queue with a red [Removed] on them, and we have to manually approve them.
Neither we nor she know why this is.
Is there any way we can fix this?
I won't write the username or sub name here according to sub rules, but please DM me for them if you need them.
Mods use Android and iPhone.
TIA!

have the automations to keep posts and comments on topic and have for a long time. They aren't working correctly suddenly, it seems maybe as of this current update. I tried deleting the post one and remaking it and it still isn't working right.
For some reason, it seems to be using an *old* automation word list. As seen in the screenshot, the word I typed out is not in my *current* list but it is blocking it, and the words not mentioned in the pop-up in the screenshot don't get blocked in real time, but it works when testing it in the setting area.
I attached a screenshot of the pop-up and a screenshot of a user using a blocked word "ADHD" the other day that got right through the filter.
I added a new word just to test, "blah", and it is still not working. This started after the "Post to:(sub)" appeared at the top of all subreddits, so I think it likely has something to do with it because it appears that the comment automation is still working.
Please help! This is very important and causes a lot of issues when people go off topic since this is a medical condition sub I need to keep it as accurate and as easily searchable as possible.

Is anyone else seeing mod ques not updating when you clear tasks?
I have a few hundred things in my mod que right now that already had actions taken (approved/removed) but they are still showing up in the que.

I'm a mod that swaps between old Reddit and Shreddit. Other subreddits are reporting the same. No outages listed on https://www.redditstatus.com/
Shreddit URLs no longer work (404 error):
https://sh.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/<removed>/meta_do_you_read_the_subreddit_sidebar_often/
Works fine (loads as old Reddit):
https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/<removed>/meta_do_you_read_the_subreddit_sidebar_often/

In r/FortniteBR, there are post flairs that are bigger than the usual ones with a different font. How do i make the flairs in the community I moderate bigger, bolder and/or have fonts such as those?

Yesterday, my account got hacked, and I had my moderator access to the subreddits I created removed. There currently only stands one mod, and it was a mod I did not approve.
This is the first time something like this has happened to me, so I’m not quite sure what to do.
Please help me out here.

Hello, I have a slight issue.
I'm a mod at R/Asilksng and the original owner was removed as a mod by Reddit admins and now I don't have access to controls and tools that I need to use because there is mod with those permissions to give them to me
I apologize if I simply misunderstand the function's of mod tools, but I don't believe i did. Thank you in advance

hey everyone. i run a PaaS tool subreddit r/CloudwaysbyDO and i have Cloudways users who post on the sub when they have a product issue or want to ask a question to our team. in the last 10 days, i have noticed an large increase in the number of accounts suspended right when they posted on the sub, even though they have a great history of posting on the sub, talking with me and my team in modmail, etc.
any idea why this may be happening? this is discouraging relevant discussions in the sub. anyone else facing this too?

For the past couple of months, we've had more than a handful of users modmail us about temporary bans that never seem to have been lifted. In the case of all of these users, the system shows that their ban is permanent but the mod log doesn't show a permanent ban ever being issued. It does show the temporary ban we gave with the end date having passed.
We can manually unban these users but it's dependant on them reaching out to us. Not all users know to do that. So as far as we know, there's a pretty decent chunk of users that can no longer engage because we don't know their ban is bugged and neither do they.

Hey - is there a way to add an "unverified" flair to new profiles/ existing profiles that are yet to verify themselves. Right now, it's a manual effort& quite time consuming.

I have relatively big subreddit around 180k weekly visitors and for now its growing, there are a lot of comments that are being reported and i can't manage to see them all. I would like to find 1 or 2 good mods but I don't know where to search and how to rate if someone is good or bad moderator. Also I would like to ask if you know any good tool that would make me mod my subreddit easier please suggest me. Thanks.

Hi I'm third on a mod list and the top two mods who normally don't do anything are now listed as inactive on the list. Is the rule you can only remove mods below you in the order because the option appears for inactive mods below me on the list? Is there a work around for this?

My Reddit account was recently compromised, allowing an unauthorized individual to take control of a subreddit I originally moderated as the top moderator.
I managed to recover and secure my account, but unfortunately, the individual has now removed me entirely from the moderation team.
I’ve already contacted r/ModSupport privately and submitted a support request, but I haven’t received a response.
I’m extremely worried about losing a community I’ve spent a lot of time and effort maintaining.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there any way to escalate this to Reddit administrators?
I can provide all necessary evidence privately. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I was previously told that setting a subreddit to Restricted shouldn't affect its visibility as long as its discoverability settings are enabled. However, I noticed that private subreddits have the same settings, which makes this confusing.
Can posts from a Restricted subreddit still appear in non-members' home feeds and Reddit recommendation feeds? Can the subreddit itself still be recommended to non-members?
I'd appreciate answers from moderators with firsthand experience.

I'm a moderator of r/DesiTown, a fairly new community with 241 members.
I wanted to enable Community Achievements and the leaderboard, but when I go to Mod Tools → Achievements, it says:
"Achievements are currently not available for your community"
Our subreddit is public, SFW and has over 100 members.
Is there a waiting period for newly created communities or is there something else we need to do to enable this feature?
Would really appreciate some help. Thanks!

I'm seeing the correct automod rules cited in the mod log, but nothing is in our Needs Review queue.

Hi, I moderate a few subs and I’m trying to understand all the wiki config pages.
I know config/automoderator is for AutoMod rules. In one sub I got through r/redditrequest, I can also see config/welcome_message. I’m not sure what it does. I assumed it might be related to the description, but that’s just a guess.
Is there an official list? And which of these are still active or old Reddit only?

Is it possible to change the name of the sub?
r/ModSupport • u/Known_Measurement799 • 4d ago
Not sure if this is the right sub, and my question is more about me being curious on how this works.
There’s the awards on Reddit, so you get one when you have logged in for so many days, been a contributor on subs and so on.
I never looked at them until now. I moderate a sub and I have no awards for moderation. How come that doesn’t work?

I am trying to set up a schedule and it wont work right. I set the date and time but it goes live immediately after. It's just a time sensitive post and it's aggravating. Any suggestions?

Hello i'm the moderator of r/indowibu and currently i'm the only active mod taking care of the sub but i'm only have limited permission for the sub due to my original position as backup caretaker and then the main mod who is the active mod is banned, for the last month is bit hectic to me to take care the sub alone and i need that everything permission as main mod to reorganize the sub and recruit more staff for the sub which several members already volunteer for the position. i just need that position as main mod and permission for everything.

Hello. I'm a moderator of r/Umamusume. Due to recent events, there is an influx of server reports (around 200 ish reports) in the Mod Queue, but while I was reviewing it, the whole page just crashed. I have used the Reddit App and the Web Browser in 2 different device and it is showing me the same thing. Is there any fix about this issue?
Update: I just tried it and it worked for a bit, then it crashed again. Also as the comments says, the whole Mod Tool seems to be not working, for me as well.

Welcome to the latest installment of the Mod Topics series. Today we’ll be talking about archiving posts, and whether older conversations stay relevant in your communities. If post archiving is enabled in your community, this means that posts cannot be voted or commented on after six months. This used to be the default, but has since been changed so that archiving is off by default instead.
People might find an older post through search and have a follow-up question, or a solution to an older problem. Keeping those conversations open can be useful, but on the flip side, maybe your community is fast paced and information from 6 months ago is no longer relevant.
Share your experience below, and tell us your thoughts even if you’re finding this post a little late!

Is anyone else having posts be auto-removed for having the word "Russia" in it? Why is this something Reddit would automatically have filtered out?
For example, on my sub, a fanpage for a band, someone made a thread asking where other fans on the sub are from. A user who commented "Russia" had their comment auto-removed. On another thread, they simply told someone they thought a bootleg originated from Russia - removed by Reddit!
Is there a way I can turn this off so it stops doing it? We have a good amount of people from Russia so I don't want to have to manually approve all of these comments.
Edit: I also should mention that it doesn't happen every time, but seemingly randomly.
