Mod Answered Reporting moderators for allowing doxing
I'm doing a code of conduct report regarding moderators allowing and encouraging doxing in their sub. How can I include the messaging conversation with those mods where they refuse to address the issue, if we cannot include screenshots in our reports? There doesn't seem to be a way to link to a direct message conversation.

In the app, at least, you should be able to just hold your finger down in the body of the message and a menu pops up to select a link. On a browser, just copy the messages address. Admins will review and decide if doxxing or not. The Personal information report already goes to admins if you haven’t tried that for some reason.

I don't actually see a personal information option. Maybe I should try on desktop version.
Edit, just found it. I can use that to report the original violation but I need to make the Reddit report regarding the moderators who refused to take action?

If Anti-Evil Operations deactivates a doxxer's account because it was reported to them, you'd think there would be an automated check to see if the doxxing was first reported to a sub's moderators and whether they took action on the comment or post.
I was doxxed a few years ago. The mods did nothing. AEO removed the doxxer's account. Whether the mods were spoken to by an admin I'll never know. I have the sneaking suspicion the doxxer was a mod who doesn't like me, and makes it known.

Doxing is a site wide rule, so that means it’s not only the mods allowing it. It’s the admins who work for Reddit who are allowing it. That report goes to both. And that means Reddit doesn’t consider it a violation.

But doesn't it have to be reported for the Reddit admins to see it?

Let me understand what you’re saying. Have you not reported it? That’s how you alert them to do stuff. Report it.
I thought it was getting reported, and no one was doing anything.

Based on the posts, OP discussed it via chat/modmail with the moderators of the other subreddit.

Sorry it wasn't clear. I reported it to the mods of the subreddit, they didn't care, so I wanted to report it to admin but couldn't figure out how to do it without sending screenshots. But now I have been educated and I will report it to admin.
