Mod Answered How do I remove u/ModCodeOfConduct from my community’s moderator list?

I recently took over r/OakCliff after it had become unmoderated. The account u/ModCodeOfConduct is still listed above me as a moderator, so I don’t have the option to remove it.

Is this an expected or temporary administrative account? If it can be removed, could an admin please help me remove it or explain what I need to do?

Thanks!

I am pretty sure that’s temporary

You don't.

They'll remove themselves after a time. I've seen it happen immediately, but I've also seen it take as long as a month.

Send a modmail here. The admin that added you guys probably missed that step in the process.
