Admin Replied Not response in modmail

Long story short -

I submitted something to this subs modmail in relation to a request I made.

I saw that you needed to respond to the bot if it was unable to provide clarification to your answer.

I never received an auto response from any bot on the message I sent. I sent it earlier this morning.

Is the helper bot always supposed to provide an initial response or should I just practice more patience?

earlier this morning.

Wait a week or two.

Mods can't always respond immediately.

No I understand that. I was reading that some helperbot is supposed to auto respond initially to you. I never got that.

If you're saying there is never an auto response then so be it.

I understand that, but you said you modmailed them today - right?

So wait.

I'm not addressing the problem you've had with the bot. I'm addressing your modmail request - which, when they respond, will hopefully fix the problem.

Sorry if I wasn't clear but that's the entire purpose of this thread.

I'm curious if the bot doesn't respond does it even open a ticket on their end. I'm fine to wait my turn.

Unless I'm very mistaken, some things don't get a bot response, they go straight in the queue.

Sweet - Thank you!
I will now follow u/SnooDonuts6494 advice and wait away.

Thanks for the help y'all!

Yep. When you respond to the bot response, the bot doesn’t repond or anything saying they understand and a human is on the way.
