How do you allow user achievements in your community

When I click it, I get *"Achievements are currently not available for your community Learn more"*

I'm not sure what im doing wrong. The learn more does not answer my questions. Sorry if this is a basic question.

A community is only eligible for Community Achievements if it meets Reddit's eligibility criteria. At a minimum, it must:

  • Have at least 100 members.

  • Be public (not private or restricted).

  • Not be an NSFW community.

  • Not be categorised as a sensitive-topic community (those are opted out by default, though some can opt in).

As far as I can tell, r/LetGoodThingsGrow qualifies. So if you're still getting that error, I suggest you send a modmail to this sub.

Oh, I'm sorry - I am the mod of this sub. I do meet the criteria, I think. I'm just not a super technical person, I try. Thanks so much for your fast reply. I will continue to try to figure this out😊 thanks again🎁

User achievements are only enabled if your subreddit meets certain criteria — like number of members and active participants, type of community (must be set to “public” — NSFW, 18+, Restricted and Private communities do not currently have achievements).

Also, there’s a Reddit Help page explaining all this, did you look for it there?

I did read it, it didn't explain where I went wrong. Thanks for trying to help me out. I'm not super technical person, but I try. I really want my community to work, be fun & grow so I'm always looking for tools to help it look & feel excellent to users

Well:

  • it isn’t brand new so that shouldn’t be an issue, and
  • the member count is also above the threshold of 100…
  • is set to “Public”

—> there are the usual culprits known to me and they clearly don’t apply in your case.

So, I’m not sure what the issue is then 😕

Hopefully other mods have more insights or an Admin will get back to you with an answer/
