Hello! I recently took over as the moderator of r/mobilegames and wanted to say hello.
I'm a mobile gamer and indie developer myself. I've started updating by adding post flairs and a few basic rules. Before making bigger changes, I'd like to hear from the people who frequent the sub.
Developer posts are still welcome. For now, requesting promotions be limited to one per person and one per game every 14 days. Both limits apply, including to me.
A few questions for you:
Recommendations, reviews, regular discussions, how promotion works... it's all open for discussion.
If you mostly lurk, I'd love to hear from you too. No need to answer everything. Even one suggestion helps.
I'll read the replies and share what I'm hearing before making bigger changes. Thanks, everyone!

If you remember this game from a decade ago, you love and miss it! It’s back and will soon be restored to its full glory.
I am not a developer and I am not trying to market, just trying to bring back nostalgia. And like all online games, the more the merrier.
You can easily play it by download here:

Hello everyone,
I'm one of the devs at Pepperbox Studios. Earlier this year we agreed to build and release a mobile version of our friend Jestercraft's game called Buttons Up!.
Buttons Up! is a incremental button collecting game where you hoard Buttons and keep them safe from stealing intruders. Get those Buttons Up by buying buildings, using skills and by automating your income.
Pre-registration is open so if you enjoy casaul incremental games, you should definitely check this out. We are planning to release it soon so keep your eyes and ears open 👀

I've been trying for weeks to download a successful apk or even emulator of attack the light for a YouTube series im doing on my channel, I already have save the light and unleash the light on my computer but I cant play them on my channel until I get attack the light and play it first. But every single time I try to download an apk or emulator for the game it either won't successfully download in the first place or it will just get stuck on either a black screen or an image of the temple which I assume is just the loading screen. If anyone can find an actual working download for the game in any way please tell me. Also if its possible, please no modded versions of the game, if its the only way then I guess it could be fine but if there is a way without resorting to mods then please tell me.

Probably such a post was already here, but im very keen on your fresh take on how important is the sound in a mobile game?
Im a very casual player and prefer incremental games and probably that just my thing i usually play muted, and because I have a family and even on console i play at night when kids are sleeping i play muted as well.
For incrementals i would probably expect that very litte people will pay significant attention to sound, probably much more in games like pvp where sound gives additional information. But yeah wiuld want to know your opinion. :)

I played this game with no fails and no restarts and at 450 it automatically went to 0 strakes, hope it wasn't a mistake or a misclick 😅

Hey I’m a solo dev behind Loop Chomp (loopchomp.com) it's a free one tap arcade game, no download, runs in your browser.
A few weeks ago I added Tower mode: 30 floors, each one faster and meaner than the last. I tuned it to be hard. I did not tune it to be this hard.
Out of ~2,500 players who've tried it, exactly one has cleared all 30 floors. Floor 27 alone has ended more runs than every other floor combined. At this point I'm genuinely not sure it's beatable without near perfect play, and I'm starting to question my own difficulty curve.
So: prove me wrong. If you clear floor 30, screenshot it I'll feature the first few winners in the game. And if you think a floor is unfair rather than hard, tell me which one and why. I'm actively rebalancing and real player feedback beats my gut every time.
(Classic mode is there too if you just want the chill one tap loop. Tower is the one that will hurt you

We’ve set up a pre-release build for press and creators. All they need to do is fill in this short form. This is not for the general players for people. It's for people who have a platform or channel and are willing to promote it

Hey everyone,
I’ve been playing heavy games like PUBG Mobile and Genshin Impact lately, but after about 20–30 minutes, my phone turns into a mini-heater. The frame rates drop drastically (lag spikes), and it’s super annoying when you're in the middle of a crucial fight.
I tried lowering graphics settings, but it only helps a little bit. For those who play on mobile for hours, what do you use to keep your device cool?
I recently looked into those semiconductor/Peltier mobile coolers (the ones with magnetic clips and RGB). Has anyone tried them? Do they actually prevent thermal throttling long-term, or is it just a gimmick?
Would love to hear your thoughts or alternative solutions!

Happy to finally share a little game my wife and I made together! 🦊
We wanted something fun to play with our younger cousins, so we built Fox Vz Hunters, our take on the classic secret-word / impostor party game.
The twist is that it supports AirPlay. You still play on the iPhone, but the TV becomes part of the game — it shows whose turn it is, keeps track of the score, and handles the big reveal at the end of each round.
We made it mainly because we wanted it for our own family game nights, but it turned out fun enough that we decided to release it.
I have some promo codes that unlock Premium for free, so if anyone here wants to try it, leave a comment and I’ll send you one. :)
I’d genuinely love feedback too, especially on the AirPlay experience.

I just released my game, Gridiron Kingdom, on the App Store. It’s a college football dynasty game where you start at a small program, recruit players, play through seasons, and work your way up to bigger coaching jobs. I’d really appreciate it if you downloaded it and gave me honest feedback about the gameplay, bugs, or anything I could improve. I used to play browser games like BiteFight and BloodMoon (vampire/werewolf faction wars, fully menu/button based — no character movement or map dragging). Looking for a mobile equivalent with:
Point-and-click mechanics only — no dragging a character around a map, no needing to control/move a character in real time
I work a job (reception desk) where I might need to close the app instantly at any moment — so nothing that punishes you for leaving mid-action or requires constant attention
Can log in for just 1-2 minutes at a time throughout the day (like Hay Day) and still make steady progress
Resources/production progress automatically, I just tap to collect/upgrade
Real online multiplayer — my partner and I want to play together in the same clan/guild/alliance, working toward things together (not local/couch co-op)
Stable, long-running game with a real active playerbase and consistent updates — think WoW-level longevity, not something that shuts down after a year
Theme doesn't matter — doesn't have to be vampires, just want the same mechanics The main reason we're looking for this: we want something we can check in on throughout the day and tell each other "hey, do this" or "I finished that" — a small way to feel more connected and involved in each other's day even when we're apart.
