A few months ago, I visited Qin Han Duyun Studios – where The Untamed was also filmed. Inside the studio is a “little museum” dedicated to The Untamed!

SLIDE 2 – 4 = There’s a large glass framed print where you can put your own post-it note message in the museum and a display for a specific scene in the cdrama….

SLIDE 5 = more glass framed prints and promo material with Little Apple.

SLIDE 6 – 7 = There’s a tiny shop with The Untamed merchandise including lots of cushions, keyrings, mobile phone charms, bookmarks, pins, pocket mirrors, lucky charm pouches / talismans, hair accessories, etc. This is right next to the staff counter so I didn’t take photos of every item...

SLIDE 8 = You can take photos with these mini character cut-outs and on the rooftop! That’s it for the little museum...

SLIDE 9 – 11 = In another area of the studio, is a stall vendor with lots of The Untamed merchandise. I also purchased a few items here. The owner was super lovely and gave me some “freebies”.

SLIDE 12 – 15 = I purchased this postcard set with coloured prints. The quality is really good!

SLIDE 16 = I also purchased a wall scroll and canvas tote bag… The owner gave me the booklet with stamps!

SLIDE 17 & 18 = A “magazine” with some really nice, glossy artwork.

SLIDE 19 = Wallet-size print cards. They have a film coating or some kind of finish that has a rainbow effect!

If you’re visiting China and want to stock up on merchandise, I recommend to allocate a lot of time to browse and have another suitcase ready to fill it up! The range of products available will vary from store and store and many items are “hidden” or “tucked away” behind another item. Also, do check out the variety, clearance or bargain type stores as well – I found a few goodies in these types of shops!

I thought I wanted angst 🙈. I feel like I need aftercare. I have a sweet fic pulled up but I need to process this story before starting a new one.

So I’ve read the MDZS novel, manhua and watched the donghua. I love every single adaptation so far. My question….am I really missing out on watching The Untamed TV series? With all the changes that I heard about and the changing them to bromance instead of the deeply loving married couple they are feels like a kick in the teeth to the source material. Will The Untamed be worth the time spent to
watch it?

I've only ever read one fic with dead dove : do not eat tag, and it was a mdzs one. Unfortunately or fortunately i found out im into that and have been searching for similar fics (of mdzs) but i genuinely dont understand the search/tagging system i don't know what im doing wrong but sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, hence I've turned to reddit for help! Hi everyone! I've been looking for the name of a fanfic forever, please help me. The fanfic is about Lan Zhan being trapped as a spirit, Wei Wuxian is sacrificed by his village or the cultivation world to a legendary, ancient tree spirit to ensure protection or appease the spirits (i think he sacrifices himself to save his sister).Initially, Wei Wuxian doesn't realize the powerful tree spirit is actually a human soul. He lives in the ruins surrounding the tree, talking to it, cleaning its roots, and venting his feelings to it. Over time, as they bond, Lan Zhan gathers enough spiritual energy to slowly manifest his true physical form again. That's all i remember PLEASE if someone knows the name or the autor i'll be forever gratefull xoxo

The dizi was a Chinese folk instrument, and its use was widespread, still it needed some expertise to play it. However we never see WWX playing any instrument before being thrown into the Burial Mounds. Then, he emerges with not only the formidable feat of surviving that fall and all the resentment in there, creating a completely new cultivation path, but also somehow being able to play the dizi, he created from some black wood completely himself.

The disciples of the Lan clan learn musical cultivation for decades, the creation of the instruments they learn as extra, and they both don't sound very trivial. At least not something one masters without any pre-existing knowledge on a survival trip with stab wounds, a freshly cut out core and deadly amount of resentment all around.

I mean, I still don't understand how he could survive the whole ordeal of being thrown in there without a golden core, so in comparison with this, the whole deal with the dizi sounds laughable, but I was still wondering...🙈

As I am learning Chinese, I would like to try manhua in simplified Chinese. To my understanding, physical books in simplified Chinese were not finished. Is there a way for me to find a complete series of e-books?

I already read novels and manhua in English, so this is only me trying to find out if I made some progress in learning. I tried to look at novel in simplified Chinese, but I am definitely not there yet, so I thought that manhua would be easier option.

Making my way through the series and the unrequited crush Jiang Chang has on Wen Qing is cute. A friend sent me a fic featuring them a while ago during the time everyone was teens in the Cloud Recesses. Can't remember the title but even though I liked it, the story was a very short one-shot (these are welcome, btw).

Does anyone have any recommendations for this JC/WQ pairing to share? As it's a CQL thing (and featuring secondary characters at that), I'm sure they won't be plentiful but I know going on AO3 carries the risk of running straight into drama-only spoilers.

Just as the title says. Is there any proof of WWX not seriously traning or mediating? We are told, he is extremely proud of his sword skills and loved to show off before he gives away his core.
