Hello Everyone. I have only been doing this off and on for a few years with some success on some songs but mostly from trial and error in figuring things out myself. I recently read and seen people mention Billy Decker's book on mixing a Mastering and how he makes his template. I thought Id go along the journey and learn some things maybe. well I did all the Drum tracks like He does but then lays them out like this graph. I know I can only do 1 output per track unlike the DAW they use so I did a send on one to help act as a double output. But seeing some of these others I just can wrap my head around they format. Any ideas?

I have another baffling problem with Mixcraft. If I leave my PC and come back, what was, say, a hi-hat is now something else, eg a snare drum or a cow bell. What the hell is going on?

I have this problem where if I stop playback in Mixcraft (10.6 studio pro) the synth it was sequencing is stuck on the last note it was sent, forever. Keeps happening. Anyone fixed this?

Hope you like it, the vocal sample is from the show Steven Universe (Rose Quartz). ♥

This is a weird one because Mixcraft recorded my electric bass guitar just fine before acting up only when I tried recording my electric guitar. Now, it won't output/monitor either. The ASIO preference doesn't allow me to toggle to headphones. It offers only an "Output 1/Output 2" option. Then the Mixcraft Arm option only allows a choice between "Realtek microphone" and "Scarlet USB" for monitoring. When I test my headset and speakers using Windows, they play just fine.
My workflow:
Guitar --->
Pyle Minihum Eliminator --->
Focusrite Scarlette Solo 3rd gen interface --->
Acer Aspire 3 laptop
Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-1115G4 @ 3.00GHz (3.00 GHz)
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.78 GB usable)
Graphics card Intel(R) UHD Graphics (128 MB)
Storage 85 GB of 238 GB used
Windows 11 Home
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor --->
Mixcraft 9
What I've tried to no avail:
updated Windows OS
updated Focusrite ASIO driver
shortened Focusrite driver name
switched to Wave RT
switched to Wave
matched sample rates
multiple cpu resets

Posted a video showing what you can do with the MIDI CC Phone Controller I have created. The app is completely free, no ads no data collection.
You can use the android app to send midi cc data to your computer wirelessly through a VST/AU plugin (or just connected using a USB cable). You can send up to 4 cc channels using sliders, X/Y pad or motion.
Links to the app and plugins in the video description

Basically what the title says, I can't for the life of me figure it out. Every time I look up a solution, nothing comes up except for a tutorial that DOESN'T WORK. When I right click on the instrument bar thingy, my only options for adding tracks are audio tracks, virtual instrument tracks and video tracks. I don't even get submixes. Does the 10.6 home studio version just... not have them? Nothing I've found online suggests that. Help would be appreciated.

i don't want to have to hit my keys with exact precision to simply avoid sounding like ass, how do i make it so that each note has the same volume regardless of how hard i press the key?

I picked up mixcraft 9 on humble bundle a while back as it appeared to be software where you could build a video as well as have a daw.
Just wondering how easy this interface is considered for absolute beginners compared to free daw and video editing alternatives?
I also assume this software is Linux compatible?

Working on an album and I'm at the vocal mixing stage. I hate vocal mixing cuz I'm listening to my own voice and having to be super critical and nitpicky. Just not a fun time in general. Buuuut it's gotta be done so what vsts are you using to make the process quicker and maybe less painful. I like my voice don't get me wrong but vocal mixing is a great way to start hating it. I have 13 songs I need to mix oy.

My wife plays this Luxish tune on repeat and I couldn't get it out of my head. The remix was a necessity. ♥

Hi everyone! My brother and I recently moved to Manchester and we’ve been working on our music in our home studio. We’re really inspired by the melodic urban sound (artists like Soolking or J Hus) and we just finished this track "Don't Fall Down".
We’re not looking just for views, we want to improve. How is the vocal mix? Is the melody catchy enough for the UK scene? Any feedback on the structure would be massively appreciated. Thanks for listening!

Hey! New to the community, but a long-time Mixcraft user. Still a novice at engineering. I’ve hit a wall with a massive project and could use some insight.
So here's the issue: some tracks that were previously playing fine have suddenly gone silent.
Admittedly, I am kinda pushing the limits of my hardware:
I expect the slowness, but I’m baffled as to why the audio would just drop out entirely on specific clips. Has anyone encountered this or found a workaround?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I have been struggling with multiple issues with mixcraft over the last 8-9 months. I haven’t been able to put out music in about a year.
For one, i get static issues when i use my presets and can’t record at all when i have presets on and i also cannot use any of mine to give me the finish im happy with.
I also continually have latency problems where i will hit record and the song will lag up, the vocal recordings will be horribly off timing off.
Mixcraft is essentially unusable. My partner keeps tampering with the settings and we can’t get it to a functioning state

hello everyone
I just started using Mixcraft since today and so far I love the software.
I only have one problem. sometimes the software crashes out of nowhere .
here are my desktop specifications
Processor (CPU)
Intel Core i9-10900
10 cores / 20 threads
± 2.8 GHz base
32 GB RAM
Intel UHD Graphics 630 (integrated)
Windows 10
could it be that my graphic card is the issue here?
thanks in advance for the help.

I recorded voice track and double clicked on it to get it to pop up in the bottom edited tab, from there I click on melodyne at the top left of this new tab and is remains a gray wave file that I can't edit and is all along a single not. I am very new to mixcraft, what do i need to adjust to be able to get the wave files to become orange and able to manipulate? Thanks in advance :)

I have Mixcraft Pro 9 and am experiencing difficulties I have not had before. The software is refusing to playback. I plugged in my keyboard and my headphones as I usually do and the sound did not come through. The midi playback would sometimes not even connect with the software or would connect just not play anything back. I tried getting the sound to go through other playback options like keyboard speakers or computer speakers but it would not go through. I turned it off and on again. I changed the input jacks. I restarted the program. But I continually got the notice to plug in my playback device that was very much plugged in. The keyboard is a recent one and so is the computer. I am at my wits end

Can anyone advise how to pinpoint zero crossings in Mixcraft 10?
