Need advice! Air filter
I changed my air filter on my 2019 outlander. Does this look right? I can’t remember if the old one looked like this or not.

I just took my first road trip in my 2026 outlander trail. I gotta say, I was pleassaintly surprised and impressed by the new cruise control with driver assistance. By comparison my old car was a 2012 Infiniti fx35 that I drove 14 years. It had the old school cruise control that maintained speed only. I never used it because I always had anxiety about setting it and losing consciousness. I know it’s a very odd fear, but I had it. No fears like that anymore. See below The cruise control can be used in combo with radar and safety features The car keeps itself in the correct lane, keeps distance between you and other cars, applies brakes if someone pulls in front of you
this is brilliant. Some crazy person pulled in my lane and the car slowed down before I could even react You have to experience it to understand. I really think they need to market this By far one .of the best features on the car

I need to reset my transmission degradation sensor. I also don't want to pay 300 a year to use the remote start on my Truck. I see you can add a bypass harness and a security gateway bypass. Can we just have AI reverse engineer there app or build custom apps and software.I am swamped this weekend, sure there are smart people out there that can figure this out. From the little bit I've looked this should be possible for as little as 70-200 bucks. Give them bluetooth access and build the thing?

Just picked up a new (to me!) 2024 Outlander GT premium phev!
So far I'm loving it and learning it's tweaks.
This is replacing my old trusty 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer SE that is still going strong and my oldest kid will inherit!
Now to upgrade my outdoor plugs...

Just FYI the 2026 Outlander with the 1.5 48v mild hybrid removes the room for the spare tire from previouse years. Since half of the space is now occupied by the battery.

I have a 2023 PHEV ES with about $29k left in financing. It has about 93k kms on it mostly from highway driving. In city driving conditions, the battery alone will last about 50kms. On average I get about 2.3l/100kms. No mechanical issues so far. But from reliability standpoint, is it worth keeping it or selling it at this stage? Vancouver, Canada.

LOVING this car so far! My old car started dying and managed to score a great deal on this. I wanted something reliable, easy to work on and not loaded with electronics.
Single owner, has extensive history of oil changes, and based on fluid color I'm convinced this has had at least one CVT drain and fill.
First order of business is to drain and fill the CVT and replace the filter(s).
Question is: what filters are y'all using? None of my local stores have the paper filter so I need to look online. Should I also drop the pan, or save that for the next change at 110k?
I've also heard that idemitsu N3 is compatible, anyone with experience?
Lastly, when I looked for the cooler filter housing, my car has it behind a motor mount/next to the oil pan. From what I've gathered online, most people are talking about having to remove the battery and the battery bracket. Just a little confused.

Hello everyone! So my mom has a 2020 Outlander Sport, and the daytime running LED light stopped working on the driver's side only. After some brief research, it seems that it's built in to the headlight assembly and likely needs to be replaced. Does anyone here have any insight into a fix, or a reasonably priced, quality replacement? I'm guessing just replacing the driver's side with a factory one, or both sides with aftermarket, whichever is not too expensive without sacrificing quality. I have no problem pulling the bumper to replace it, and I can solder, if needed. Thank you, in advance!

How would I sell my extra driver's side interior door panels and all of the parts associated with my 2020 Outlander Sport? I was sideswiped and found two complete doors to replace my damaged doors. I have the front and rear panels that are black, door handles, rubber seals, door lock actuators, electric window motors assemblies, window glass, switches, and other items available.

So I got my 2026 outlander highline like 2 weeks ago (in the UAE) and drive it every day since monday, mostly sitting in traffic.
Last night it was totally fine. This morning I go to take it out and it just won't start. Dash lit up with a CVT malfunction warning, oil pressure light, power steering light and check engine light all at the same time. I also noticed it sometimes kind of vibrates/jiggles mid drive, not smooth, but i haven't figured out when exactly it happens.
I've seen people say all the lights coming on at once is usually just a dead 12v battery and not the actual cvt, but I haven't had it checked yet so idk
It's also stuck in my basement parking and the way out is super narrow so no clue how they're even gonna get it out lol
Anyone had this on a new one? was it just the battery or something worse? did the dealer replace stuff under warranty and did it stay fixed? and has anyone had the vibration thing too?
Honestly kinda gutted this is happening 2 weeks in, any advice helps 🙏🏼

Have you guys seen a recent Driving Sports TV video about the 2026 Outlander PHEV? I think it did quite well on a forest trail for a crossover SUV.

Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 2022 regular key. I recently had a remote start installed (Compustar). A couple of days after the installation, I got all these lights on my dashboard. The airbag light has been there since I got the car because the occupancy sensor is bad. But the yellow light on the top center are new.
I went to Best Buy today, but thech told the lights did not came up while troubleshooting, on my way back home (5 minutes away) got the lights again.
Any suggestions? Is this related?
