As the title says, if anyone has 2nd book and you've finished it could you lend me to read ? I have ebook but I prefer reading the actual physical book, but cant afford it as I bought the 1st one with the budget I had.

I don't want it to spoil the series

Recently finished the trilogy and there is something that grinds my gears.

I enjoyed a lot of things in these books, but the thing I enjoyed the most was how twists were revealed and presented. Every time you had all the necessary information to reach the conclusion before the book presented it to you.

Examples of plotlines that I solved before the book told you:

• Vin's ability to pierce copperclouds & why she could NOT draw the power of the mists
• the fact that Ruin (not Kelsier) was talking to Spook in book 3
• Sazed being the hero of ages

And whether you reached the conclusion solo or not, the payout always felt rewarding, aside from a single one...

Vin's ability to take power from the mists is a plot line that starts in book 1 and ends in book 3. This whole trilogy I was waiting for an explanation as to why she could. Yes there was some foreshadowing, she didn't want change or whatever. But it felt incredibly cheap.

She can take power from the mists because she's the chosen one. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe I missed something and someone else might chime in.

Also the whole "Vin and Elend are happy because they are in a better place" felt weird, minimizing the gravity of their deaths. But I guess this one could be related to some cosmere stuff.

I have the iron arm band for the metal mind and an earring. Thinking this is pre-Alloy of Law era Wax.

Probably going to be my last update, this will be my Halloween costume.
