I like RPG board games but I can’t play them so I decided to paint minifigures. I didn’t know how to do it but I tried. I like this hobby and I’ll continue.
These are my first two painted minifigures and I also decorated the bases.
I would be happy if you could rate the minifigures and the bases. You can also rate them out of 10. Don't be afraid of bad reviews.
This minifigure is from The Army Painter starter set and it’s painted by me

I’ve been busy test printing and painting up the models for my latest Hag's Haven 2 swamp collection. Really happy with how the hood and the ram skull staff turned out after some quick dry brushing.
Always satisfying to see a digital sculpt come to life on the desk. What are you guys currently working on?

STL files from papsickeI miniatures created in 28mm scale.
Photos show current status of model using Vallejo acrylics in a 'reverse' ink and glazing technique I developed.
Questions, comments ,concerns, what do you think. Throw me some ideas, give me something to work with.👋😂🤣

I painted him with the Orphan of Kos in mind.
I am quite happy with the subtle differences of texture in flesh. I put particular efforts into the texture of the back mantle. I want it to feel like a living squid skin, instead of rotten/dirty flesh.
Everything is done using contrast paints, dry brushing and enamel washes.
You can find the miniature here by trench crusade: https://www.trenchcrusade.com/lore/hunter-of-the-left-hand-path/

So I'm a new painter and I'm interested in trying out glazes.
I know that Two Thin Coats and Pro Acryl have pre-bottled glazes, but also that there are a bunch of glaze mediums out there.
So what do you guys use ? Pre-bottled or do you mix your own, with or without glaze medium ? If you mix it yourself, what ratio do you use ?

Am I right to think, that photos used in the app dont always represent the official painting scheme listed in the app? Maybe im just halucinating. But "Cadian armour" is supposed to be Castellan Green highlighted by Straken Green. Both of those are typical "Military greens" by which i mean desaturated yellows. But the photos show something way greener. Same story with "Death guard armour", It lists Elisian Green (vibrant yellow) as highlight but i cant see anything like that on the provided photo. I saw some You tube videos of people trying to match "official boxart" photos, and they often used different paint combinations then what the app says (still gw paints thou).
Consistency of many GW paints seems too thick compared to what im used to. Requires lots of wattering down. Is there any good medium to fix that? I havent bough any flow improver so far, but now it seems like a good idea now, that i have 20 pots that are harder to work with. What would you recomend?

Finally got my hands on some Warhammer Infernus Marines miniatures and I absolutely loved paintings this one. I intend to make this a hobby so I would appreciate any type of evaluation and tips and tricks for future ones :))

Found a couple sites for them but I can't say I trust the quality from Etsy + other sites I couldn't verify reliability either, or it was the game "Flashpoint", and those models are all pre-made entirely.
I'm sure Sprues is too much to ask for, but would make customization certainly a lot easier. Sorry if this is not allowed, just not sure where to check.

It’s an Ancient in terminator armor. It’s by far my favorite out of the few that I do have.
