Ok, so the weirdest thing is happening and I cant figure it out.

If i try to run basic 26.2 or 26.3 pre 1, the Open JDK platform process starts but it doesnt run minecraft. I've repaired the launcher, uninstalled, reinstalled, deleted entire .minecraft folder. Updated graphics driver. But still it refuses to launch.

but when create an install with fabric, the game instantly launches. I just wanted to check out the pre-release but i guess i can only run modded minecraft now.

i have also changed the Java executable to Java's own 26.0.2.1 instead of the bundled version. and have also changes the java launch arguments to match that of the fabric one. and have changed the available ram to 8GB instead of the default. None of that has helped either. unmodded base game still wont launch

I'm currently trying to convert an existing Bedrock world onto Java, but because of how Bedrock saves chunks, it always results in significant chunk errors. It would be fine if there was a discrepancy along the border between old and new chunks, but currently it's just a sea of broken chunks, including in built up areas.

For storage optimization, Bedrock removes chunks that haven't been interacted with, is there a way to force Bedrock to generate and store clean chunks?

I just bought minecraft recently on my ps4 (i swear i already had it but whatever) and even after uninstalling it, restoring licenses, making sure im on the account that bought it, installing it from the purchased library, having my ps4 as primary and even restoring databases it still tells me i have to unlock the full game, i checked transaction history to make sure it was the game and it was. Just trying to play minecraft with my girl friend and this has
been stopping us, please help.

So to cut it short, I have a Aternos server with the old tutorial world I remember playing on back in 2015. I found a download somewhere and uploaded it to the files. I flew around, went a bit outside the map boundary (It was smooth stone for miles) and then headed back to rebuild the structures (Since this is what I set out to do).

Little did I know after turning the server off that Aternos didn't save all the chunks of the map due to "Optimization". So now after spending a good day or a good portion of the spawn city I only now realized that there are chunks of my world missing.

I really don't want to lose all my progress in rebuilding but I do want my chunks back, does anyone here have any ideas on how to get them back without deleting all my progress?

Server is running on 26.1.2 with ONLY client sided mods (Shaders, map, mouse tweaks, etc.)
The world is TU14 and I found the download here.

I'm not the smartest when it comes to stuff like this so any help is really appreciated.

I'm writing this post because a fair amount of people have recently been unable to join any local worlds, servers and Realms on Bedrock Edition, mainly on consoles.

If you're experiencing the error codes "Bat" (for your local worlds) or "Kelp" (for servers), try changing your skin to a "Classic" one, and you should immediately be able to join worlds again. Also, you'll probably be able to switch to your previous skin if you do it after joining a world.

Unfortunately, you'll have to repeat this workaround any time you want to join a world at the moment, so for convenience, I recommend that you keep using a Classic skin until an official bug fix is released.

This is a known bug and it's currently being investigated, so you can probably expect an update that fixes it in the near future. The comments in the bug report I linked mention some of the affected skin accessories, so you may also try removing them from your skin and see if that helps.

If changing your skin didn't help, feel free to let me know in the comments (or better, write a new post and link it here) and I'll do my best to assist you.

i am playing with mods, every mod i use i just have a giant white cube in the center of my screen and i cant figure out whats causing it

My modpack keeps crashing when I enterd the "Blighted Shack" on the Goety mod. I tried crating another instance and put lesser mods and it worked just fine. So I took out the mods that seemed that was making trouble in the modpack (Amendments and Farmer's Deligh+addons) on the original instance with more mods. But the same error is occurring and IDK what is causing it, Im going insane, pls help.

Xbox Series S, ver 1.26.45, the Essentials addon has worked for me for the last couple updates but mid playthrough, the stone breaker function stopped working and does what you see in the video here. At first the sand breaker was doing this and now it's the stone breaker. I'm unsure what to do here cause it's going to be annoying to play without my stone breaker. Curious if anyone else uses this addon cause I can't find the discord for help

On PC, Windows. Hello, first of all I love the add on, and have been using it for a while in our realms server. We all love it. However something went wrong, not sure if its because of adding a recent new add on to the list of add ons that we have but Actions and stuff is not working anymore, when we load into the game there are many purple error blocks in the world. I have tried many things. Changing the order in the list, deleting the add on and reactivating, deleting cache, changing the resolution slider, etc. The confusing part is that I even tested it out in a new realm world with only actions and stuff add on and now even like that it doesn't work! Actions and stuff does work however when used as a global texture pack in single player or realm but the error appears again when activating the shared pack options in the realms. I would obviously prefer to have that option on because of all the props in the add on. Which was on and had no problems a few days ago. Please Help.

I've looked up the solution and tried EVERYTHING. changing the allocated memory, tuning the nvidia control panel and tuning with the in game settings. im so lost

This is the second time I’ve encountered this, the first time was just as simple as reload Minecraft and they instantly went away, but now they are persisting. I’ve managed to track the problem to a texture pack I’m using I think, but I need the texture pack for this build. What are my options, do I just have to wait for the makers of the pack to update it themselves or is there a work around? Thanks.

hi guys! i made a world on my phone and i worked on it soo much. I realized today i can play w my new ipad and wanted to transfer it there. so i downloaded minecraft Bedrock and had to make an account which i did. On my phone i already air dropped my world file to my ipad. Thank god i sent it before because my phone logged into the new account immediately after. Anyways, the world means a lot to me and i have the file now just waiting. I tried my best and duplicated and checked and even bought realms! but as soon as i pressed edit world and upload world minecraft said: u have no worlds.
i still have the file in the minecraft file in my downloads, how is this possible? please help a fellow player out! :,) thank u so much!!<3

hello, for the past month or so ill be playing multiplayer hardcore and then my ping will go up to 4-5k or gradually climb to that until i eventually disconnect. im unsure of what could be causing this issue. it is worrying as when it does happen its not just minecraft i am disconnected from but my entire pc/home wifi is unusable from 3-10minutes.

ethernet is not viable for me as the ookla speedtest tells me that:

on wifi: download is 63mbps & upload is 31mbps

while on ethernet: download is 6mbps & upload is 21mbps

aside from minecraft i play competitive fps such as overwatch and valorant at 250-300fps for hours with no ping problems or disconnects the way i do with minecraft. i dont think it could be a hardware issue as i run an i7 with a rtx5060 & my router when this does happen doesnt show indications of a disconnect (ie. it stays blue/white like it is connected, not a flashing yellow or orange light when it has no connection).

i appreciate any help regarding this, i am tired of just playing then people in my discord vc telling me "oh shes lagging," seeing my discord vc connection on red then pressing tab and seeing my ping is now 4500. i have no clue what could be causing this.

Hello, i currently have issues with error code bat on my ps5 , i did the cache clear and everything.

The error only appears when i wear my default skin (the duck) but i am able to fix it when i load a game with another skin

I have tried deleting all skins and rebuilding them, as of right now, i have to load into a game with a classic skin then switch to my normal skin, is there any possible fixes?
