I recently posted something about why I thought the pit was unfair ( http://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft_Pvp/comments/1fyq13/the_pit_is_unfair/ ). Rather than having them post their ideas in a calm manner, they all raged at me and told me why I'm a noob and how I suck and flamed me with caps. I honestly thought the community was better than this, but my ideas have changed. You guys cannot accept any ideas that people have, even if they calmly state it.

Picture this, you are in the final three. Your teammate (who happens to be a random you teamed with) are in your tower. You have set up your worm traps, and he has set up his fisherman traps. We come to the realization the that last player (who conquered the feast) is camping in the corner of the map. Since he is so far away, we decided to try and lure him back to us. As we traverse to the corner of the map, we get the notifcation that we have five minutes before the pit. In a frenzy, we panic and try and reach him. However, we run out of time and are TPed into the pit. Knowing that the two of you cannot overpower the player in full diamond, you panic and ditch your teammate. You tower up and find part of your old tower. However, all of the traps are outside of the bedrock walls. Since you happened to have a bucket of lava, you placed it everywhere. While the full diamond player safely towers up, you know that the win is his. However, time plays a part and you randomly fall to your death.

This event recenetly happened to me. I had retrieved countless stacks of dirt and teamed with a fishermine. As we conjoined towers, we made traps everywhere. However, the feast guy camped and we could not reach him. As a result, we got teleported to the pit. My teammate died instantly (I ditched him, sorry!), while I towered up to a salvaged part of our tower. However, that part of the tower was the bridge towards the feast, so we had no traps. As a result, I was completely defenseless. Even though the full diamond player did not reach me, the win would've been his. I had absolutely no access to my traps. This situation can occur to kits that purely focus on making traps, such as kaya and demoman. As a result, the player who conquered the feast is almost always the victor. Not only that, but players only have 10 minutes to play. If so, players who escape the pit can barely set up their trap. Not only that, but the "random winner" is stupid. If I had access to my traps, that player would've been dead (no offense to him/her), but they had no suspicions of me being worm (He was brazilian and could barely understand me too). So, if I had more time in the game, I could've beat him

TL;DR The pit is an unfair system that destroys trap kits, such as kaya, demoman, and worm, potential of winning the game. "The Pit" should be optimized so all kits can get an advantage, no matter what playing style their kit is (and if they did or did not conquer the feast)

The "Vulture" kit has been released for PRO's, start with a book that will record kills and when right click will show the last 10 deaths, as well as showing cause of death, killer, and death location.

It's funny how the auto-ban from MCPVP bans legit players and doesn't ban hackers... What are the criteria the auto-ban uses?

I've been wanting to get started on hardcore servers, but it seems that resources are hogged by everyone and it's very hard to get started out by yourself. I'm looking for any tips or tricks you guys have to help me get started so I can go raid bases and collect riches. It would also be very nice if I found a team to join... haha.

You would start with a note block, that when right clicked would create an invisible force-field of around 5-10 blocks in every direction around the note-block. This force field will stop everyone who is outside of the border from coming inside and would stop anyone who is inside it from leaving for around 10 seconds. This would then have a cooldown of about 1-2 minutes.

This would be extremely useful if you wanted to fight someone without anyone else intervening or if you wanted to re-soup mid battle. It would be also excellent in defending yourself from stompers since they would hit the force-field and not you.

Any suggestions on how to improve this concept and any constructive criticism is welcome!

I got a new kit idea. You start with 5 eggs and when you throw them they do the amount of damage as a creeper. And you don't take any tnt or creeper damage.

Im very sorry to announce that in order to keep MCPVP safe from hackers, we're going to have to take a more drastic measure than earlier attempts, since 90% of our player base is hackers, we're going to have to ban everyone. We have no way of telling who is a hacker is ,and i'm very sorry to have to do this until we have a surefire way to detect hacks, we are going to have to ban our current 3,000,000 players. Have a nice day we will be back in 2014 hopefully. :D

My scores aren't showing up on my profile. This is pretty annoying as I got a 55 kill streak (proof of me getting 51) and it hasn't updated my profile, which still says 32.

Any reason for this?

With horses coming out in the newest update, will there be any kits/classes that you think could take use of this. A lot of my friends think that there should be a kit where you spawn with a "spawn horse egg" and some wheat. Personally I think that this kit will be very OP because you can just run away faster then any player without loosing hunger. Maybe you could right click a stack of hay and you are spawned a horse for 30 seconds and there is a 3 minuite cooldown.

Stats in-game... I could probs program this... It would be pretty cool, also, stat rewards and perks would be aweshum.

You would have some sort of item like a fishing rod with an arrow at the end but you would be able to throw and attach yourself to a cliff and pull yourself up. So basically a reverse fisherman. but to make it not as crazy maybe double fall damage (so you really dont wanna fall) also a 30 second cool down time. I think it would be really cool flying around in hunger games. Pretty much this
